"Perfect, 2 courteous gentlemen were here for 2 days and redid our front patio that my parents build 16 years ago. Some of the rows of bricks were sinking. They took all the bricks up and repaired the border and laid the bricks back down and the patio looks brand new. It truly looks professional now and the guys were a pleasant to work with."

"I couldn't be happier. I had a crumbling stone veneer front porch that needed to be repaired or rebuilt. Mr. Hill came to assess my project and gave me a very fair price, explaining why the porch would need to be rebuilt. He quickly scheduled my job and arrived with his son to start working 30 minutes earlier than promised each day that the project took to complete, which impressed me even more. I highly recommend K Hill Masonry for any stonework you would like to have done."

"I needed a wooden fence repaired on short notice. Edin responded to my Angi's List posting, looked at the fence and 2 gates to repair, then gave me a good estimate on the work. Initially I thought the estimate to be a little high however, looking at the detail he offered, the estimate was reasonable. Edin adjusted his other projects to take care of the fence as the timing was critical. When completed, he replaced one section of fence, re-set another post that was moved over the years by the yard (he re-set the post in cement) and connected the loose sections to the post correctly, repaired two gates that needed cross-boards replaced plus re-set the posts for the gates, and replaced hinges and latches on 3 gates. All of this was done in one day and turned out exceptionally well. I wish I had engaged him last year! Holy Land Landscaping is top-notch. They cleaned up the yard when finished and truly did a very professional job. Thank you Edin and team!! (and by the way, the price was quite reasonable for the work and quality provided). Edin and his team are wonderful to work with!"

"I am very pleased with the work from Elijah, his team led by Victor, and Cassella Landscaping. I hired them to replaced old rotting timbers of the wood trim of the yard of my townhouse. I have never hired a hardscaping contractor and most photos from others are of stone work. After emailing a few contractors, Elijah was very prompt to respond but I ended up going with a different contractor because our schedules lined up sooner. This ended up being a disaster - we ended up having the first contractor pull up the poorly laid timbers so we could start over from scratch. I ended up reaching out to Elijah again, and he was so professional and courteous. He answered all my questions, gave me multiple quotes, and was flexible with the price after our neighbors decided they did not want us replacing the timbers that were on their property line. Elijah worked us into their schedule promptly, and his crew paid great attention to detail, even offering to fill in the gap in our driveway left by installing the timbers straight with asphalt! His crew led by Victor was very communicative, checking in with me in the middle of the project to make sure I was satisfied before proceeding further. One issue I had with the first contractor I worked with was he cut awkwardly small pieces of wood to save on buying more wood. Victor cut nice long piece - and even went out to buy another plank of wood in the middle of the project to make sure it looked nice. They definitely do not cut corners! The price they quoted was higher than the first contractor, but I felt it was reasonable, and they definitely are worth it, especially given how professional and responsive they were to work with, and their expertise and attention to detail during the installation. Overall, I can't recommend them enough! I will definitely be reaching out to them again if any other projects come up!"

"Andreas owns the company and responded to my request. I have a raised paver walk way that runs on one side of my house from the front to the back. At the back it drops off on to a paver patio. The whole thing was sinking, collapsing and falling apart. Metropolitan Pant and Home Improvement, (Andreas) responded right away with a phone call and was the first to respond. He came over that day and gave me a quote on the spot. He was very nice and personable and very easy to work with. I received quotes from several other companies and his quote was fair and also the lowest. They began the work the next day, and came back every day until it was complete, which was only several days. Andreas was also on site to direct his crew to make sure they understood what the work was. The work was done perfectly. All the pavers on the side yard walkway down to the back patio were power washed along with the patio pavers. About 20% of the pavers had to be remove and crushed stone added underneath to level the walkway and parts of the patio. Then the pavers were placed back, leveled and packed tightly together. Finally, they used polymeric sand to fill and seal the seams between the pavers and then applied sealer on all the pavers on the walkway and the whole patio. The work was perfect and completed very quickly. He also did more than was asked and quoted, which was power washing ALL of my hardscape including two areas of hardscape in the front yard where flowers and shrubs were planted, along with my whole driveway and walkway up to my front door including the front stoop, without being asked or adjusting the quote. I liked Andreas and his work so much that I have just hired him and his crew to redo our kitchen including replacing the floor, resurfacing and painting the cabinets and install a marble tile backsplash. And this job was VERY reasonably priced, too. I strongly recommend Andreas and Metropolitan Paint and Home Improvement. They can do many types of projects, and they can be trusted to do a great job and complete the project quickly for a very reasonable price."

"Work was excellent. Delivered exactly what I needed and when I needed. Work crew was exceptional and did everything I asked of them I will use them again in the future."

"I’m a realtor and work with a lot of companies . (36 years in the business) This company is top notch and well priced. They are polite and great at communicating the scope of the work. They showed up on time did just what they said they would and cleaned up behind themselves. They are family owned and I would use them again in a heartbeat."

"I needed stucco repair work on an old chimney (and other spots). Grady was meticulous and thoughtful on what approaches and materials would work. Throughout the project they allocated sufficient time for each treatment to cure and inspected the work before proceeding to the next step. Grady started the project with no money down and only required ongoing payments for materials until the project was well underway. The final payment was due only after they did a final inspection. Total project cost was also below other bids."

"Mottern did a fantastic job designing and installing a large flagstone-on-concrete patio for us. The work included excavating and leveling the site, pouring and re-enforcing the slab, and selecting and purchasing the stone, brick and other materials. In addition to the patio, Mottern also filled in an approx. 12 sq/ft section of brick wall where a door had been converted to a window. The filled-in brick and mortar matches the original 50-year old wall perfectly. Overall, the entire Mottern crew was prompt, responsive, professional, and very skillful. We would definitely use Mottern again."

"They did a very nice job repairing our brick walkway and stone patio. I'm very happy with the work, and I would easily hire them again for similar projects."
