"I hired Arnold Masonry to find and fix a water leak in my chimney that had somehow survived two previous masons / chimney repairs, re-flashing twice, and replacing the roof. The good: * He was the only mason (of this round) who even returned my call. * He was the first to suggest that he starts by finding the leak with a garden hose. * He found the leak on the first day, and identified that the problem was a crumbling chimney cap due to inferior construction. * He replaced the chimney cap, and the leak has stopped (even through two hurricanes). * Total time: 3 days of labor, totaling about $4500. The bad: No complaints about the masonry performed, but * The leak-finding method only works if he actually sprays water into the leak. I didn't mind-- The interior stains were so bad that I didn't mind making them worse and I was pretty desperate to fix the problem-- but it makes the damage worse before it makes it better. (And you need to sign a waiver for the damage.) * He wants to be paid cash, on a daily basis. However, he does not seem to like to make predictions about how much each day will cost, so you either need to have a lot of cash on hand or run out to the bank when he finished for the day."

"Mondy and his crew are true professionals and masters of their craft. My privacy fence looks amazing! Mondy was very attentive throughout the whole process. He always kept me informed of any changes due to the weather. Mondy was always available to address any questions or concerns. His crew did a wonderful job. They were very detail-oriented and communicative. I recommend them without hesitation!"

"Yes, they are hard working people and very creative. Kosta gives you beautiful ideas for design of the decks and patios. Price was very reasonable compare to other companies. They use quality materials from lumbers not from HD or Lowe?s which are less quality. Whatever they promise they will do it. And the job is done right on the schedule. I will use Chris Masonry and Decks any time I need masonry work or decks."

"We really enjoyed working with Arnold. He is practical, professional, and personable. He replaced our front steps and reset the tops on our retaining wall. The price was fair, and the job was completed reliably and efficiently and as promised. We would hire him again and recommend him to others."

"Nixon and his crew called or emailed me before they arrived ,to power wash our deck and answered any questions in a timely manner. They were very articulate and left the area clean when they completed their work. My husband and I would highly recommend them."

"I recommend Sky City for a deck build or replacement. The owner Vasyl was very easy to work with and made suggestions to improve the project. The crew arrived when expected and completed the job in about 2 weeks. The quality was excellent."

"Mike Goodman and his team did a great job building an overhang for the front door. I had given him a picture of what I wanted. It was not exactly like the picture, but in all fairness, he said he would get as close as possible. It still turned out very nice. In addition, Mike added three railings to deck stairs. The project took five days, which is what he projected. He was sensitive to my need for details and we kept in constant contact through out the project. I live in Maryland and the project was in Connecticut."

"Edie and his crew were easy to work with and reasonably priced. His work in rebuilding our porch and back deck were excellent with helpful suggestions in design. We liked his work so much that we continued working with him to build a stone patio attached to the deck and re-do our front yard retaining wall."
