"The need for a footing drain was a surprise to me during my basement remodel due to water leaking in through the blocks. Raman and his team got me on the schedule fairly quickly, did a great job. They also set up new plumbing for 2 bathrooms and a kitchen in the basement, and removed my old water heater and installed a tankless water heater. Any issues that came up, they were very quick to resolve (including an old copper pipe that they didn't install which welding came loose, and they were there same day to fix.) great honest service, reliable service. "We had a completely clogged kitchen sink. Alex Y. (the Rescue Rooter employee) is a friendly, quiet, patient, and highly professional tradesman. He wore protectors over his boots to keep our house clean, went into the crawlspace for a thorough check of the drain pipes, to ensure proper drain angle without any sagging pipes, all part of the free inspection. He gave us a firm quote on each of two approaches to clear the clog, snake or water-jet. While it wasn't chepa, Alex' quotes were well under the estimates from the RotoRooter rep (who did NOT inspect the pipes in the crawl space). We opted for the snake, and Alex did a quick and effective job. He also suggested a product we could use to prevent future blockages, and his price for that product was again less than RotoRooter's. Rescue Rooter also gives a 10% discount for seniors, or for veterans. Unfortunately, I couldn't persuade him to give me a double discount as a very senior veteran. Oh, well."

"We were in a jam. We are attempting to buy our first home. We had our inspection scheduled and on the morning of, we learned of a potential plumbing issue. There was a report filed with the city stating that a couple of years ago there was some kind of sewer back up. This house is old, so I wanted to make sure we weren't signing up for any potential problems. I called around to local plumbers in the area. NONE of them were able to accommodate our need on this shortened time frame. I got Zach's number from a contractor friend of mine and in a last ditch effort gave him a call. Unlike some of the other plumbers I'd spoken with, Zach validated my concerns and informed me that he would recommend that I have my system inspected. He was very patient with my partner and I, making room for us that evening to show up in exemplary fashion. He also took the time to explain and answer questions about potential upgrades as my partner wants to upgrade the hot water tank. He outlined different product options and explained with great knowledge and detail the differences between the products. I would highly recommend this company. If we get the home we will definitely be having this company come back and preform the necessary work that is needed for our new home."

"We had a tricky leak that needed tracking down. We could hear it, but not see it. Our usual plumber was not available, so found Schmitty's on AngiesList and called. Thankfully, he was available to come out that afternoon, and after some detective work we finally narrowed down the area. It was evening by then, so he brought Trace out first thing in the morning to dig under the foundation and expose the leak. Between the two of them, they solved the issue... which turned out to be not one, but four pinholes in the copper pipe underneath the cement slab foundation. Brian said it might be the trickiest soldering job on the least amount of available pipe (1/4") in a very tight area in 20 years. Their pricing was reasonable and fair for an emergency service. Ross and David spent all afternoon clearing out two clogged drain spouts and replaced/repaired a badly cracked PVC pipe after hydro jetting them. .Job started 3 days late due to delays on a previous job.

Crew arrived on time Monday, 6/29 and installed braces under the foundation on the front, north side of the house and front south side.  re-leveled foundation which had settled slightly over the years.  This was done manually.

Crews also installed pop up drains and conduit to allow water to flow away from the house as it was accumulating in the crawl space, causing some issues.  This was done on all sides of the house and interconnected all of our downspouts.

Finally, underneath the house, crews installed braces to better support interior walls and stabilize the floor, which was flexing somewhat.  While in code, it was annoying and this was taken care of as well as re-leveling the floor in the kitchen and dining areas.  They also installed fresh vapor barrier plastic in the entire crawlspace

This work took one day longer than scheduled, however, despite some additional purchases, there was not additional cost to us.  I am very pleased with the work performed under extreme heat conditions.  I would use Matvey again.
