"Yes the work was done. The two guys that came put in 7 windows and two big bay windows in one day. They did not even taken a break. They cleaned up the small pieces of scrap. Then one week later they came back and put in two new doors with the same professionalism when they did my doors."

That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Although we were told the installation was scheduled for two days, the four man crew that arrived was able to finish in a single day! Each window was installed with the same consistency in quality and efficiency. Furthermore, the crew did an excellent job protecting our floors and furnishings in every room. When it comes to evaluating the installation crew, we couldn't be happier. Regarding price, we probably paid more than we should, but that's on us. We advise getting several other quotes first and then get Castle's quote. This will definitely help in your negotiating. The windows have definitely helped to eliminate draftiness in our home and helped to maintain a consistent temperature."

"They were on time and very fast. The Angie's list deal was for 750 square feet, three rooms for $450 and I knew we would go over that a little but I think their calculations were a little excessive.  They didn't account for many of the windows and doors when they considered the amount of coverage so it ended up being $300 extra without paint.  Overall, the work was good except for a few drips onto the trim that I didn't see until later and they were very fast.  In the end, it was about $240 an hour for a crew of three painters to do the work.  It looks great and I'm glad we did it but I still think it cost too much.
