"Anton and his crew are the greatest! We truly enjoyed working with them, Anton is extremely responsive, extremely dedicated, and most importantly, a true artist/artisan. We asked him to use only reclaimed wood and the most environmentally sustainable materials. He researched the best environmentally sound ways to insulate our house (using stone wool and alternatives to Tyvek, which we did not want to use because it's from DuPont) and he made numerous trips farther upstate from our Mid-Hudson house to locate the perfect reclaimed wood at old barns that were being torn down and resold as reclaimed wood. He gut renovated our really skanky old house into a magnificent jewel of post and beam construction to the point that peoples' jaws drop when they walk in."

The owner Alan provided me with a affordable estimate. The two workmen who arrived this morning to do the work were on time and a pleasure to deal with. "Impeccable workmanship: we are totally happy with the results. Derek also professionally guided us to a custom rail solution that no one else suggested. His work and team were professional and friendly, and they made sure all of our punchlist items were addressed. Derek even fixed some roof shingles he noticed were awry! Derek sometimes failed to let us know in advance when issues were going to adversely affect his timing. But, he always followed up, responded to our questions and did extra work—often after business hours—to catch up. We found Derek extremely easy and professional to work with, and we are extremely happy with the results. We also plan to contact him if/when we do further work on the house."

Alberto and his team took great care to protect my wood floors while using their scaffolds and the work was done quickly and cleanly. No drips, all paint lines were sharp and straight. I reached out to Harold based on his listing on Angie's List before I bought my home--free of charge, he took a look at the roof on a property I was considering buying--giving me an estimate and advice. His help led me to find that the sellers were dishonest about the condition of and work done on their roof, and I purchased a different property in Hudson, NY. My home is a 1927 Craftsman that needed quite a bit of work. I hired Harold based on his honesty and responsiveness in helping me evaluate the first property. True to form, his estimate and ultimate cost to repaint the entire interior, repair and sheetrock floors and ceilings, refinish and replace hardwood floors, completely remodel a bathroom, rewire and install light fixtures, match original woodworking, install cabinetry, windows, and appliances, and even assist with installing new furniture, were more than reasonable. Better yet, the quality of his work was of the highest caliber. He has restored and improved a lovely home, and I am so thankful! I have to say that most of all, I am so happy with Harold's professionalism and diligence. Not every contractor is known for staying on the job and completing it on time. Especially in my situation, where I am a single woman trying to restore a second home when I live out of state--I assumed I would have difficulty in getting any contractor to be present and complete the job on time. However, this was never a problem. Harold was always there, was immediately responsive, and never slacked off when I wasn't there.
