"The crew came to the house and modified their way of working to accommodate the tight work space. They were friendly and went above what they had to do by saving my flowers out of my flower bed before they began digging out the space. They answered my questions and explained how things were going. The company owner often checked in by phone and in person to communicate with me regarding the job."

"Good job, good clean up, very happy to have this job done well and completed in a timely manner in State College. Will recommend highly. JC"

"Everything went very well and the work was quickly completed.  Mr. Henderson was able to get started on the work within a week after giving us his quote and completed the work in about a week.  He removed the damaged drywall and fit a replacement piece back into the area, sanded it even and then repainted the ceiling and the walls near the corner of the ceiling.  The work was done extremely well and it is hard to even tell where the damage was/where the repair area is located.  We are extremely pleased with the work.

"I was surprised because it was during some of the worst winter weather but they were able to measure and install in a very short period of time. The material was cut to fit on site and was the color and quality I ordered. They did an excelletn job"

"On time and work completed before it was promised"

"Replaced my roof in May. Did a nice job. Showed up when expected , kept the site clean, very polite crew. I'm happy with the work."

"Made an appt. with Castle Rep, James, for 17 windows and vinyl siding. He spent 1 hour talking about how great his company and windows are before finally getting down to the issue. We were told that CASTLE makes and services their own window, with all the best technology and technicians available. The price per window for energy efficient came out to over $1,200 per double-hung window! And since they make their own products, we could not find a way to compare quality and price with other manufacturers. But his per-window price exceeds the average price of $500-700 by A LOT! When we balked, he made a call to his "manager" to see if we qualified for a "special promotional" discount. If we were to commit right there on the spot, we would get an additional 10% off! Still way to high. We said we would think about it (he got sad and snippy), and that we wanted to hear about the vinyl siding quote before we made any decisions. He told us he could not give us a siding quote until his company did an "eagle view" measurement, which would require another appointment! We had no intention of sitting through ANOTHER high-pressure appointment. High pressure, long-drawn out presentation and he would not leave us with anything in writing! No brochures, prices, nothing! He refused to put anything in writing and we could not have a break down of labor and costs. I even asked him if I could have a copyhh of the window warranty and he said "only if you purchase right now." And they did not come prepared with references or previous job locations! When we further researched the company, we found they did make very excellent products, but the #1 complaint was by far that they did not honor their lifetime warranty and that customer service was horrible. In the end, we chose not to do business.."

"I have hired WHL for two jobs, and had an excellent experience both times. The transparency of the process--from the estimate to the build to the cleanup---is most impressive. The crew explains, answers questions, allows choices, and still gets the job done on or ahead of schedule."

"Efficient and complete job at the quoted price. All upstairs windows replaced and a storm door installed including added features on the windows that I have never seen done before. Truly a great job well done!"

"Rep showed up early which was good. But after 3 hour dog and pony show that I had to call an end to. Initially I told the company was looking for siding first, patio door next and if $ left over or package deal replace windows. When rep showed up, first thing I said was my priorities (siding, door, windows). 2 hours into presentation - we really don't do siding we have a "sister" company that if you do the windows/door you will get a customer discount. He wanted to sell me windows/door, completely missed point re: siding and when I kept bringing that up, back to the windows. Then when I finally wanted an estimate, wrote some figures on folded piece of paper which he took with him. 24 hours later still haven't received any written estimates."
