"He finished the roof but did not tell me about the error in his workmanship. He did not finish the whole work. Update 12/22/2021: He finished the roof and said he fixed the problem, he showed me how he was to complete the repairs and after it was complete the work was not done in the manner he said he would do it. A new problem was noticed with the shingles and they are overhanging on a peak of the roof and are not attached and will blow off with high winds. The second part of the job, to put two sides on the shed was not done properly, he is charging me to come out to fix it, which is ridiculous, that is why contractors put that in their estimates. He was going to come out on a Saturday but change to Friday since it was going to rain on Saturday, when he called me and by the time he arrived on the job site it would be dark, I told him I did not want him to work in the dark with a flashlight. he keeps giving me excuses on why he cannot come out on certain days for personal reasons. The job should have been completed in October, except for his constant excuses for not being able to come out. If the problems are not resolved by the end of the year I will escalate this by other means."

"We contracted for 2 small projects. The first project, replacement of support beams for a pergola was completed. The second project was to replace posts that had rotten wood with new wood posts. They were on the second floor of a roof. Ian did not replace the wood but rather spackled and painted over. He verbally indicated they were replaced and completed as contracted. We paid him in full and not until a few days later did we realize he did not complete the job. We have tried calling and texting over 20 times, yet he ignores all communication. I will take responsibility for not inspecting before paying. But he should take responsibility for not completing the job and not responding."

They refaced all the kitchen cabinets up to our ceilings. Made legs for our granite kitchen table along with other custom things my husband wanted and refaced a powder room cabinet to the ceiling. The guest bathroom was also refaced. Finally, my bathroom was completely transformed. They added shelves to an enormous to the ceiling quadruple linen closet. "Wally and his team are an excellent, first class group. Quality craftsmanship at a fair price. Everything with Wally and his team is done the right way, every time. Communication between Wally, his team, and Melanie in the front office was easy and straightforward. They’re always pleasant, available, and willing to help. We had one mixup on the design of the deck board layout. Wally and I spoke, the issue was resolved with no problems or issues. Wally did the extra work this required with no additional charge. They tore down my existing deck, redoing all the framing, and installing a new trex composite deck / railing. Additionally, they updated all the electrical running under the deck / outside (to code), replaced a downspout that was running underground that had collapsed, and also installed a new block window under the deck. Couldn’t be happier. The work was impeccable and the deck looks amazing."

"Thomas & Thomas promptly called me to offer an estimate. Faced with less time to replace the carpets after moving in due to an emergency I offered to provide the measurements to save time. They professionally declined to skip that important step but were at my house early the next day. They were empathetic to my need for new carpeting as I ripped it out of the fixer upper in need of tlc because no carpeting was a huge improvement. Luckily they had a day off between jobs and fit me in within a week. I am calling them back today because I know they will help me with the home Maintenace that has been let go for years."
