"I called the week before Christmas to schedule an inspection/cleaning.  Kelly answered the phone immediately, scheduled me for 12/23 so we could enjoy a fire for Christmas.  She called the night before to confirm.  The two guys showed up on time and were very courteous. They inspected the chimney and determined that it didn't need to be cleaned. They checked the furnace flue and confirmed that it vents to the outside so that also didn't need cleaning.  They charged me $70 for the inspection which I was able to charge to my credit card. They recommended frequency of inspections/cleanings and left within 5-10 minutes.

"I couldn't be happier with Joe and his crew.  From first contact and the time we met to get an estimate I could tell right off the bat he knew exactly what he was talking about, and was very professional about everything.  I met with 2 other contractors, and even though Home Facelifters wasn't the cheapest, I knew that they would get the job done right and on time.  They dealt with all of the city inspectors and dealt with pulling all the permits, they helped me pick out many of the different items for the house like the cabinets, counters, appliances, flooring, and even colors for the walls.  There were some things that I thought I wanted a certain way but Joe was always willing to try and explain why another way might be better, which I do appreciate.  The payment process was very simple, we did go over our original estimate, but he had told me upfront there was a chance we would find things behind the walls that we couldn't predict, and I was prepared to possibly go over by a certain amount so that wasn't a problem.  The work was done very quickly, and the quality of everything is great.  I will definitely be using Joe and his crew on future projects of mine.

"Went well,very nice to deal with and informative.Came back when I called back because the smell of smoke was coming into the house.They checked it out and said everything was fine.Claimed it had something to do with the chimney being on the outside wall and the cold weather.The weather hadn't been that cold when it was happening and the chimney was not on the outside wall,maybe 7 feet away from the outside wall,so I don't quite understand the explanation.Again,very nice to deal with.
