"Jose and his team were the best team I have ever had work on a job in my house. Jose went WAY above and beyond to make sure we had our basement back in order in a timely fashion. He was willing to work after hours if needed to help get our finished basement back after we had suffered a sewage leak and had to wait until mitigation was complete. A 3-4 day job was complete in 2 days! And one of his workers, Carlos, from the second day stuck around to help me get the heavy and large items back into the basement. There was a previous review that said Jose was very emphatic to their needs and that is so true. That review actual was what made me give Jose a call. "I hired Long Island handyman construction group to remodel a 400sf basement and bathroom in Melville. They were priced in the middle compared to other bids. I picked them thanks to their out of the box advice which saved me thousands of dollars. There was one problem with the plumbing which cost an extra 1800 dollars. The owner settled with me 50/50 even though it was a pre-existing issue. The project was started early and completed early. All mess was cleaned up and the crew was very friendly and fully aware. "Ryan from R&D is an true and honest guy. He won't give you the runaround, he won't try to talk you into something you don't need, and he and his crew are just artists when it came to remodeling our bathroom. We chose the inventory and R&D made it happen. Complete tile work of our shower and floor came out beautiful. I'll admit, it was a tough bathroom to remodel because the ceiling wasn't dormered. So, it made it a bit harder to tile due to the angles. But they made it work. They, also, helped outsource companies that were right in our price range from doing work on the shower door and counter top for the vanities. I highly recommend R&D and I think you should consider them for your next project."
