"Emailed company for an estimate to repair or replace some interior doors. Got a prompt reply and set up a time for the appointment. The owner assessed the job and told us that repair was all that was needed, not replacement. He also gave us some insight into a future job that we are considering and could consider the company for. The repairs were able to be scheduled within a week and the job was well done. Only snag was a little mix up in the time that the job was to start, but this was very minor. "I brought in several of the highest rated plumbers on Angie's list for bids so I knew they would all do quality work.   I then went with the lowest bid, which was Burkhardt by a landslide.  The bid I received from them was less than half of what the other top rated plumbers bid. 
They only have a few employees and they had one guy do all of the construction work at my house.  My project took 4 days which included breaking up the floor, running drain and vent pipe, running water pipe, and recementing the floor.
I was very impressed with the work.  When he came to the house I went over how I wanted everything done and he did everything exactly how I explained it.  I also made some additions to the scope of the project after he started and he took care of them with a "can do" attitude.  I needed him to reroute some existing water pipe and to install a shut off valve.  He also left my basement spotless when he was done with no reminents of all the cement and sand that was on the basement floor during construction.  I would hire Burkhardt Plumbing again in a heartbeat and would recommend them to anyone that is looking for quality plumbing work done at a fair price.
