All costs were up front and if an issue arose (we knew some were there since our home was built in the 1800's) he gave us options and let us choose how to best remedy the issue. His price seemed too good to be true yet he was honest and got it done. What started as a bath tub to walk in shower change ended up a life saving floor joist change. The floor was soft and the wood had rotted out. He could have just worried about the shower yet he listened to my concern and fixed it all. Such a low added price for a toilet base that no longer leaks in the floor boards and a beautiful walk in shower that my mom can safely get in and out of. "The installer, Ken Bartlet, was extremely professional and thorough. He prevented as much mess as possible with drop cloths and tarps and cleaned up the area after the work completion better than it was when he got there. However, the description of the product lacked necessary details. I paid for a shower with a 32"x60" floor pan to replace my tub and give me more floor space. What wasn't explained was that the floor pan having a, seemingly unnecessary, 3.5" wide raised border which immediately took away 7" of floor space making it almost just as bad as the tub. In reality, it only needed about a 1" wide border for the door frame to rest on. The installer did help out by placing the door as far out on the border as possible, so he personally gets 5 stars. Other than that, the panel materials are very sturdy and secure, and the install is super clean with beautiful fixtures and panel designs. Lastly, it seems a bit overpriced. 14k for essentially a drop-in shower is unnecessary. If money's not an issue and the focus is just quality and timeliness, then this is probably your best bet. But, if you're looking for any sort of "bang-for-your-buck", keep looking. Our installer was Ken Bartlet and he was great."
