"I hired Edgar’s Appliance Service to repair my Jenn Air refrigerator. I had initially hired Sears to assess the situation but did not trust the repairman’s close to $1500 (parts and labor) recommendation. Edgar was prompt, professional, and, most importantly, honest. He explained what he thought the problem was and said that if he could not fix it, he would only charge the fee for the visit. If he could fix it then he would do so at a very reasonable price. Although he got my refrigerator to work, he was very honest and told me that my refrigerator had about another year to go and it didn’t make sense to spend $1500 on a compressor and labor when I could use that money towards a new refrigerator. He even went so far as to call a friend who had a similar refrigerator and asked about the cost. I give my enthusiastic recommendation for this business and will use Edgar for any future appliance repairs."

"My mother had a broken valve on the hose going from her ice maker to the refrigerator. She called Sears which is where she got her refrigerator to get somebody to come out and repair it for her they charged her $500 to come out and tell her they couldn't do anything for her because the part was on back order after a month of waiting with water gushing through the entire kitchen all day and all night I finally had had enough. I contacted JL appliance and they responded almost instantly told me no problem they'd be out to help my mom the next morning they showed up stop the water from running in her refrigerator and then came back to fix the refrigerator as soon as the part had been ordered. It was a two-day wait for a part that Sears said is on backorder until October. What a difference having somebody who actually cares and does good work for their customer as opposed to garbage Sears who doesn't even want to help people. I would highly recommend JL appliance they work professional and quick they responded quickly they did the job and the job well done and not only that were very very nice to my mom and that's very important to me Thank you!"
