"The difference between a good, great and amazing company is not just the quality of the finished product, but also how the company interacts with their clients and addresses any issues that may arise. That is what makes ASAP an amazing company! We were displaced from our home for 5 1/2 months due to water damage caused by a plumber installing a water softener. We called ASAP to complete the reconstruction on recommendation of a friend as we were not happy with the ethics of the remedial company the plumbing company had called in. From the very beginning ASAP was by our side. A few "bumps in the road" were handled quickly and efficiently, and it was quite evident that this is a company that cares about the quality of their work and the client relationships that they build. A very special thanks to Tony for taking the time out of a very busy schedule to meet with us to address some minor concerns; Doug - a huge thank you! Your personal attention to our situation and helping walk us through the muddy waters of dealing with a 3rd party claim was amazing! Couldn't have kept my sanity without your help. John, our project manager - words cannot express how thankful we are for all of your hard work and support throughout this entire process. Your personal attention to your clients is unsurpassed! You are a gem! Last, but certainly not least, a huge Thank You to all of the crews that worked on our home over the last several months, not only did you meet expectations, you exceeded them by far. Excellent, quality work by all. Thank You ASAP! Tracy & Chris Ryan"

"I received my radon results in a timely manner. I did not hire them specifically, (so, I cannot say I would hire them again) the local company contracted them for this service. The home inspector I hired, handled this service for me and included the results in his report."

"Their work is of the highest standard and quality.  Every job they did for my family was well done in a timely fashion.  If it were not for for their "Value pricing" model they would still be our plumbers today.  But they always give you three option a low, with less expensive fixtures, middle, and ultimate.  They warranty their work based on which package you buy, the more expensive the longer warranty on their work.   Many of the fixtures would carry their own warranty.  So I am uncertain as to why, they would warranty their work for different lengths of time.  When we need a toilet replaced quickly when selling our last house, the price was outrageous and they finally agreed to sell me an older model that was just collecting dust in their storage for 300 less than their basic.  They do great work and stand by it, but I would recommend more than one bid if you are going to use them.  I think their business model is geared more toward commercial than residential.  But in all honesty I do not have experience with using them for just minor plumbing repairs. <br />"

"I thought their fee was excessive for only 20 minutes of work. They have an ad listed in the phone book saying that they are the oldest existing plumbing company in Rim country. The company name may be the oldest, but the current owner has not owned the company the entire time."

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Young, AZ

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
