"Our main project work was performed in April and May 2017 with some subsequent work after we completed a new master bath in January 2018. The drywall repair phase in 2017 encountered unforeseen issues due to improper work done by a contractor used by the previous owners. While the cost of the project increased accordingly, Doug Fox (owner of Wolverine Custom Painting) was particularly good with clear communication and transparency as we expanded the project scope. The Wolverine craftsmen that performed the cabinetry, drywall and structural/fastener solutions for high ceiling drywall features were extremely thorough and skilled. The painting crew were excellent and took great pride in their work. Given the unusual nature of this home (in a Frank Lloyd Wright tradition) we are extremely pleased with the end result that highlights the barrel ceilings and interior features of this beautiful home. Wolverine Custom Painting was a 'one-stop shop' for us that exceeded all our expectations."

"Gary painted 5 areas inside our home. He had bid an acceptable price with an anticipated 1 week timeframe. He arrived each day at an agreed upon time. He found several areas of our lathe and plaster walls that required extra repair finish work that extended the time necessary to get the job completed. In order to finish within 1 week, as quoted, he offered and did work both Saturday and Sunday going above and beyond our expectations to ensure a flawless outcome! "This company is extremely responsive and appears to care greatly about the job being done.
They really try to give the customer exactly what the customer wants.
I was out of town for most of the entire job; they took charge and made it happen.
They replaced the counter tops with granite and the backsplash and sink. and also performed some minor repairs to a cabinet.
I would have appreciated not having an extra join in the granite; and have now found that the nails used are breaking the wooden shelves underneath the counter.  I would have also appreciated it if the plumber did a better job with the disposal; first it was installed on the left sink versus the right and then, thanks to the positioning of the disposal tubes by them, it cost me an extra $200 to get the dishwasher examined for the grit that was remaining after the wash....only to be told that it was the positioning of the disposal tubes that caused the problem.
