"Lance and his company was most professional and courteous before we even committed to an install. Once we scheduled an install, it was well executed and looked and worked great. Training was done by a superb trainer that our dog took to immediately. You can tell they care about their profession as well as the animal. A year later, damage was done by a third party. Lance himself showed up promptly on a holiday weekend to fix the fence and save our weekend. I can't recommend Lance's Hidden Fencing enough. A+ job."

"David was the first to respond to 8 requests for fencing estimates. I wanted a company where I would meet the installer, not a salesperson. David provided a reasonable quote and was able to fit me in faster than I expected. He promptly responded to any questions. I just needed a partial fence as I have fences on either side of me. The job was completed in a day and turned out better than I had hoped. The fence looks great. David also offers a 3 year craftsmanship warranty, which was better than my other quotes. If needed, I would definitely hire again for another service."

"Hector and crew showed up on time, and I was immediately greeted by him. Hector is very polite and personable. He and his crew knocked out a privacy fence in just a few hours. He walked me through the project, once complete, to explain anything that might come up. They left the yard clean, with little sign they were ever here. I'd hire them again tomorrow for any fencing needs I had."

"We called for a quote, asking specifically if they also did the eaves trough, and they called back within a half hour and gave us the quote for the house and eaves trough. He said he pulled up a picture of our house online and quoted it that way. We were a little uneasy about this because our house is a Cape Cod in the front, but the back is a full-size two-story house. The quote sounded reasonable, so we hired them. They came out within a few days, and were actually early. The two-man crew was very nice and friendly. They immediately told my wife that there was a problem, that they may not have enough hose and asked if they could use our hose, which was fine and they did. When they were done, my wife went out and looked at the work with them, although that was her idea, not theirs. A good part of the eaves trough was untouched, including one of the end caps which was still black with dirt and mold. When she asked about that, they told her it was "staining" that wouldn't come off. On the side of the house that was the worst, with the most mold, they told her they couldn't get some spots because the slope of the land made it unsafe, so the bottom half was done, but not the upper half. The dormers on the front of the house are done, but there are places that were missed. Unfortunately, I wasn't there or I wouldn't have paid them the total amount. I know that the eaves troughs can be cleaned better because I did them last time, and got almost all of the mold off--it just takes a little elbow grease! There are parts of the eaves trough that you can see where they cleaned and it looks good, but just missed another spot further on and left it like that. We expected a professional job because of the good reviews we read on Angie's List, but I could have done a better job myself, for free! Maybe it was just the team we were sent, but we were disappointed in the result. These people were totally unprepared to do the job. They did not have the proper hoses, ladders, etc. Our house is not what you would consider a really large house, so how do they do other, larger homes??"

Willis was the very first person to (IMMEDIATELY) respond to my inquiry on Angi (out of 4 total responses). He came out to my house quickly and gave me an estimate on the spot. The price was MUCH lower than the previous company and the good rapport we had (and his credentials and knowledge/years in the fencing business) made me lean more towards hiring him than the other 3 companies. The fence was installed within DAYS. There was always very good communication about when he'd be at my house for setting the posts and doing the remaining work. Very respectful of property and SUPER understanding about my XXXL protective dog! I'm super happy with how it turned out and HIGHLY recommend Whitson's. "I have a basement that was poorly finished a few years back. I contacted Handyman Matters to do several repairs in the basement. The services included: drywall repair, scraping off a popcorn ceiling, resurfacing the ceiling, painting, installation of flooring, installation of baseboards, and carpentry. Paul, the owner, listened to my requests from the very beginning and ensured that my expectations for the space were met. His workers Kevin and Mark were very pleasant and knowledgeable. They were in my home for two weeks and were efficient in getting the work completed in a timely manner. I felt comfortable with them being in my home and did not have any concerns for the safety of myself or my kids. The office staff (Penny) was always friendly and eager to assist me with any questions or concerns. Overall, the basement looks 100% better and I am very satisfied with the work that was done.  I would definitely recommend Handyman Matters for any type of home remodeling needs.
