In our discussion with Steven, prior to them coming onsite, he indicated that the entire job would be completed within one day, not like my neighbor’s house where it took them two full days and cleanup on the third. They arrived at approximately 7:15 AM and took particularly diligent care to remove furniture from our porch, cover our gazebo and Hot Tub, and proceeded to strip off our 14-year-old original roofing, tarpaper, and old vents. This was accomplished within the first three hours. Next, they laid the new tar paper, water shield, new Solar Attic Fans, and all new drip edge. While they were finishing laying all the new very high-quality 25-Year roofing shingles part of their team was back on the ground cleaning up all the debris, magnetically getting all the old nails out of the yard. By 2:00 PM they were 100% finished, put all our furniture back on our porch and were on their way. Mr. Batty was constantly checking on his crew and by 3:30 PM that very same day he took the final pictures using his drone plus walking on the roof and from the yard. I paid him for his final installment, and he was on his way with a very satisfied customer, my wife and I (plus our son) highly recommend Steven Batty Construction."

I liked the sales pitch but had to cut it short (to an hour) as I had to go pick up my son. The sales ‘expert’ said he’d send me a quote along with other pertinent information the next day. After a week with no word, I called back and received an apology from customer service and was guaranteed to hear back regarding the quote within 48 hours. Another week passed and I called again. Got the same treatment from customer service along with the same promise of contact within 48 hours. It’s been another week now and obviously they have no intention of following up on this. "DO NOT USE, They have no integrity, cut corners and hide their issues. They do not seem to understand the basic understanding of water flow and overlapping of roofing materials. At first I thought that they maybe had a bad guy on their crew that was cutting corners, but after asking them to repair their mistakes, I realized that the Owner doesn't know or care about quality. They left nails all over the driveway and around the house. They improperly installed drip edge, ridgevent, step flashing and starter shingles. Upon attempted repair, they tore and folded shingles. They now refuse to repair the damage they created. Please be aware that I know the owner of the company personally through events done together and if he is willing to do this to me, imagine what he is willing to hide and refuse to repair if he doesn't know you. They will hide issues and cut corners every chance they get and the pictures prove the quality of the install."
