"I noticed my water heater leaking late in the evening (Saturday night), and Sunday morning I reached out to Angie's List for a water heater replacement. I set my expectations that it probably wouldn't be attended to until the work week, but Jesus for Jess Plumbing responded within minutes. Checking with some of the big box stores, Jesus had extremely reasonable pricing that included the purchase of the water heater, labor for removing/installing, and hauling away the old one. After confirming pricing, he was at my home with the new water heater in hand within the hour. Once he arrived, he had a very warm and open attitude as he broke down all the steps that we'd be going through. he was very knowledgeable with the alternate methods of electric or tankless, and gave the pros/cons should I decide for an upgrade in the future. Throughout the install, I enjoyed our conversation very much and he didn't mind that I hung out in the garage while working on other projects. He moved with the intention that only comes with years of experience, deliberate and precise. When we had to shut off the water he communicated that ahead of time knowing that my family could possibly have a need to access it. Overall the whole process went incredibly smooth and would not hesitate to hire him again or to recommend him to a friend."

"Can not imagine a better response, starting with my call for assistance, response time and how the technician, Tad methodically diagnosed the problem. We have an obscure kitchen fixture that required service in Feb 2019. Under warranty the problem was easily diagnosed by me, a problem possibly caused by me and a replacement part sent and installed by Albert Nahman team. Problem: I broke the faucet cartridge. Current Problem: restricted hot water flow in this kitchen sink only. Turns out the new cartridge part is now malfunctioning. I called and Tad arrived taking a step by step approach ruling out possible causes: a clog here or there, build up of sediment, or blockage in the lines or cartridge. The company that sells the product got on the phone with Tad and they collaborated on the problem and the tech person gave Tad one more thing to try. After the collaboration it is agreed, problem persisted and therefore that new cartridge part is now malfunctioning and will be shipped free of charge in two days. Thanks to all, who made this possible and I trust we will have Tad here again soon to finalize this fix. BTW, cost of service was less than expected given going rates for such a call lasting in excess of one hour. Another comment, spending time with Tad during the repair was a pleasure to have him explain, collaborate, listen and just chat. Questions on who to call next time, no question who I will call next time. I have read criticism of costs: In the Berkeley area "How much does it cost to hire a plumber? Some plumbers have a minimum fee for a service call. They might charge anywhere from $175-250 to come out and give you a consultation. Plumbers may give you a general service rate of $128-148 per hour when there are a lot of unknowns about a project and they aren't sure how long it will take. Some charge a flat rate for their plumbing services. For example, you may get charged $175 for a sink or drain cleaning, while toilet installation costs $500." Today costs are upfront, same as charges in Feb, $69 to arrive and assess the problem. Here in excess of one hour for $129 minus $25 coupon, total charge $173. I am ok and I expected these costs. If I was in Philly, where I grew up, I could call an uncle or cousin and get a better rate, a family rate. This is going rate for our area."

"I had water damage to the ceiling of my garage. Vicente provided evaluation and written estimate in one visit with attention to details and my customer satisfaction. He took the time to verify my plumbing problem by video taping my water leakage of my bathtub drain pipe with his phone through the broken spaces in the ceiling. He returned the next day with Eduardo, assistant, to complete repair with pipe replacement of old bathtub drain pipes. I was impressed with Vicente's respectful, honest, confident, and professional demeanor with attention to customer satisfaction and service. Vicente exceeded my expectations with exemplary work. Bonus: I discovered afterward that Vicente had fixed my slow flowing sink faucet next to bathtub without request or charge. I would request Vicente again for all my plumbing needs in future. He was very friendly and is a well experienced plumber (I believe he told me 20 years as a licensed plumber). Response time was excellent, same day service, and the cost of service was more reasonable than any other estimates we received. "The plumber arrived on time, assessed the work to be done and the setting, and provided us with an estimate for five separate options. He thought he needed help, but no one was available from his company. So he went out to the plumbing supply store to pick up supplies we had not provided (we had purchased all of the replacement faucets, and two of the four shutoff valves). He worked diligently and finished the project by late afternoon. Our only complaint was that the plumber did not set the drain plugs properly. I spent about an hour resetting the “open” position so that liquids would drain properly."
