I called the office and they agreed to come out again. Again they just set up the trap and, while I was out of town, removed it in three days with a "no animal" note on the door. I was charged $200 and never given my Angie's List discount. One day later, I saw the possum going back under the shed. When I called back, they refused to come out again. The 'possum is laughing at Critter Control, but I am not."

They had created a mound in the lawn in a nest that was about 18 inches in diameter. John explained that the nest was probably about 2 feet deep and used a device to inject the insecticide deep into the ground. He took the time to explain that the grass roots around the nest would have been destroyed and that we would need to reseed the small area. "We had a bat in our bedroom late on a Saturday night. We called several so-called "24-hour" pest numbers. Creature Catchers was the first and only one to respond. They sent out a catcher early Sunday morning and he caught the animal in about 10 seconds. He had a container with him to preserve the bat until it could be released in an appropriate area. Bats are protected and must be handled humanely. Releasing one into sub-freezing temperatures alone would certainly prove fatal. Creature Catchers was planning to introduce the bat to a known colony where it would survive. Yes, it is a bit expensive, but it is peace of mind to have it taken care of by a professional.
