He used a jet wash high pressure water spray wash that cleaned out the interior drain.  He also sent a camera down the sewer line to check and see the rest of the drain. "Zak showed up on time, looked at my to be fixed list and went right to work. He was able to loosen the shut-off valves in both bathroom sinks, so we we didn't have to replace those. (I'm 70 and arthritic, no strength in my hands and wrists.) If the shower regulator goes wonky again, I should be able to fix it myself as Zac showed me how. No charge for that fix. The toilet needed a new flapper-apparently the el crappo one I had used was no good-it was worth the $15 charge to finally not have to turn the water on/off to use the toilet! The cost of the project includes the new faucet which I guess to be $80-100 retail range (a nice Delta basic with sprayer). It was not a simple replumb; there were some challenges getting the old faucet out as parts were rusted and fused. Zac explained everything along the way, took care not to make a big mess and cleaned up after he was done. Took about 3 hours start to finish, including the time Zac took to go purchase the faucet and get the special tools needed to cut apart the old rusted parts. They will be coming back to install some shower rails for us after they get the parts. I will be calling these folks for any more plumbing repairs I need. I was so nice to call and actually talk to a live person and not play phone tag. I called them on a Thursday afternoon and they were here the next Monday morning as promised. This was a non-emergency call. BTW-they do charge $85 for a service call. This was work Plumb Tech originally did in December 2017. I had washed dishes in a dishpan and when I dumped the dishpan, water gushed all over the floor. I called they sent a tech over immediately-here in about 20 minutes. Turns out my old house and somewhat wobbley sink cabinet contribute to loosening the joints. The tech re-attached everything and tightened all the joints as much as possible. Everything is now working fine again. Done at no additional charge to me. I really need to have new cabinets installed so the sink will not move even a little, but the house is not worth that expense at this point. (We will be investigating some way of stabilizing things.) I really appreciate the fast response and not being charged."

"I was at the apartment building I owned and was notified by a tenant while I was there that a pipe was leaking in the laundry room. This was on 3/8/2010 around 6pm in the evening. I contacted Alan while at the apartment building. He had a job he was doing that evening so swung by the building on his way to the other job to put a temporary patch on the pipe so it would hold. He scheduled me in for the following week (3/15/2010) and accomodated my schedule since I was going on vacation the next day. It took approximately 1 hour to do the repair. He cleaned up after he was done and the piping is in great shape now. The total charge for both visits was $150 total. I own multiple apartment buildings & rentals and have used Alan on multiple occasions (5+ times), including installing a water heater in my own home. I will continue using him based on my experience with him in relation to price & quality of his work. I have used other "A" plumbers on Angie's List and find the price of other plumbers is very high for the amount of time they spent doing the job. Alan is more reasonable in regards to price. Alan charged me $175 for another plumbing repair job based on a quoted estimate over the phone where another plumbing had provided a quoted estimate of $425. Quality and pricing are Alan's Plumbing strong points. Because he is a one man shop though, he is very sensitive to his schedule. Sometimes he can be hard to get hold of because he takes his own calls and if he is really busy with a plumbing job, he will not pick up his cell phone while in the middle of his work. He will typically get back with you that day though (and most times within a couple hours) from what I have observed in our relationship as plumber and landlord, which is fine by me. Also, because he is a one man plumber, sometimes he can get backed up. He might give you a time of 10am to be at the job and be there around 11:30am. That had happened on this particular plumbing job. I would give him a window of time based on the time he tells you. Expect a 2 hour window around the time he gives you. Most plumbers will give you a window of time anyhow. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work that Alan has provided so far and will continue to use him on my own home and rentals. I have used other plumbers on Angie's List that were "A" report plumbers and stopped using them due to issues involving the prices they charged and the ultimate quality of their work. Alan has been the plumber I have stuck with. Again, he may not pick up the phone right away so leave a message and give him a 2 hour window from the time he tells you. If you are fine with that, he is a good plumber."

"This was a complete remodel of a 30-year old kitchen, including removal of all cabinets and soffits. Matt proposed the design after coming to the house, taking pictures/measurements, and discussing the ideas I had. He offered lots of options for cabinets, countertops, and flooring and assisting in the selection. He also assisting in procuring the appliances after I decided on the make/models I wanted. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable. They put down drop clothes and covered doorways as possible to try to minimize the dust throughout the house. There were lots of "surprises" in the soffits, requiring about a week's worth of re-arranging plumbing and electrical. This caused a delay in completion of the project and added expense, but I felt the charges were fair. The final product is an updated, open, functional, and beautiful kitchen that I will enjoy and I know will add value to the house when it's time to sell."

"I was very pleased with Trinity Plumbing and Rodney Robbins.  He was in Amelia when I called, but was immediately available to drive to my home within Cincinnati city limits.  He had the necessary part on his truck to fix my toilet.  After finishing up with the float replacement,  I also asked him to check a leaking faucet handle in my basement laundry room.  He gladly looked it over, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it right away.  Mr. Robbins was very friendly, informative, and efficient in the use of his time.  I couldn't have been more impressed.  The price was right too.  I will definitely recommend him to friends and family, and plan on calling him again if I have another plumbing issue.
