"Jim's office called promptly and set an appointment. He introduced himself politely and professionally, then efficiently went about his business inspecting the roof. He took photos of several trouble spots and showed them to me, explaining what each represented. His assessment and explanation of the cause of our roof leak was thorough. he also indicated the issue is less severe and less urgent than other companies had indicated. Jim explained other things to note about our roof, particularly its age and need for a replacement in a year or two. He offered to make the minor repairs to fix the small leak since the weather & roof had been dry for a couple weeks. Jim fixed the roof - temporarily, which he clearly explained - for under $100. So far, we've had bids for $2,000 and plenty companies saying they need to replace the whole roof."

Any other roof estimates I got I had to scan a code or ask multiple times for license, insurance, references ect. not with John Scott roofing didn’t get the words out and Mr Scott is handing me copies of everything. Without asking at payment time I got copies of release of lien for material and entire job, that just puts ya at ease. "My over the street neighbor replaced his roof with a cool looking copper tinted metal roof -several years ago. At that time I was very impressed with the team performing the work and the end result. It looked great and still looks great. I wrote down the company's name "Covenant" just in case. Then, when it was time to talk about my roof needing replacement I had a colleague at work bragging about Covenant: he was very happy how Covenant put a metal roof on his house and even showed me pictures. So, I contacted Kevin Showley (Covenant's Sales Representative) who came to the house after my work hours, inspected the roof and gave me a fair price. He showed me the materials used and explained how the whole process would work. He also helped me right away with the financing part of the whole project. That same night I signed the contract and within a few days the permit was attached to one of the windows of the house. Within 2-3 weeks the materials were delivered on the driveway ! A trailer was placed on the driveway as agreed upon on Saturday. Monday at 8 sharp a team of 11 people started on the roof and put a beautiful copper look metal roof on my house within 2 days. I called the company afterwards 2 times for some minor aftercare, and each time they responded within one day ! "2nd Gen did a complete tear off, replaced 5 sheets of plywood, and installed asphalt shingles over a ice and water barrier, renailed entire roof every 4 in. Located all roof tie downs insuring 4 nails in ever clip. Tar sealed top of drip edge rarely done. Repaired damage to all corners of facia. Put new aluminum facia all around my home. Completely reroofed a large flat roof section double layered & installed a new tubular skylight. Great job on everything & great cleanup! All ways on time & passed all Inspections. Finishing on time! Very fairly priced & spared no details or did any sort cuts, this was all done weeks before last yearâ s September Hurricane. They came right away and replaced 6 ridge vents shingles & reinspected for any other damage. Found no problems. So satisfied with everything. Beside the ease of working with them"
