The house has a complicated roofline with dormer intersections and also included replacing three skylights. Sunset Roofing was very responsive in addressing and completing our job within one week of first contact. The Sunset Roofing team was professional and efficient throughout the install and performed a superb job. Two days after the roof installation was complete, about 2.35 inches of rain fell in Rochester on 7/17/21. There were no water leaks anywhere in the house during or after this excessive windblown rainfall event. The complete absence of leaks during this heavy rainfall is note-worthy because the previous two roofs that were installed by other contractors leaked throughout their lifetimes."

"Our fire department was in need of a new roof and replacement of the soffits on our truck bay roof. When we were getting quotes, when we met with Zach Becker of Stellar Roofing, he explained every aspect of the job. Did an excellent job of recommending his products. I was present for these projects and I was really impressed with the crews work ethics. There was a crew of 11 -12 people over the 3-4 days they were on site. Except for lunch, each worker was always busy. Either sweeping up the debris, taking shingles up to the roof, installing the shingles etc. I would use Stellar Roofing again."

"Long Construction did a complete roof tear off and completed it in 2 days. I had shopped around awhile and checked online reviews of other roofing companies in Rochester. The GAF shingles they used have a 50 yr warranty and 10 yrs on workmanship. The price was extremely competitive against the other estimates I received. Jason did a great job explaining how the process works and answered all of my questions. Mike Long, the owner, is on the roof working alongside the crew on every job. They even replaced some rotted soffit material over my back door. There was no damage to my house or yard and they did a fantastic job cleaning up when they were finished. "You ask how did it go and my reply is GREAT. Last year I needed the barn roof replaced. Response from the Jerry was quick and after I had completed my portion of the preperation the roofing crew came in promptly. The work was completed in a professional and very efficient manner. Clean up by the crew was to the point where it appeared as though nothing had ever happened. I will call Proctor Enterprises for my next project. Note: I am not a good photographer !"

"Graves Bros. (Rochester crew) handled our roof replacement, and we could not be more impressed with the results! The process started with a two-plus-hour meeting with Chad, assessor and estimator. He knew this was our first-ever roofing project, and was patient, thorough and professional answering a wide range of questions. We had one final contractor meeting scheduled, but that was cancelled thanks to the great visit by Chad. Graves was hired the next day, and price became secondary, as we felt totally confident with this major decision. The work crew arrived at 7:00 am, and twelve hours later with sunset imminent, the job was finished, in spite of one unforeseen challenge along the way. After tearing off the old shingles, one large section with very low pitch revealed a decking that was markedly warped in many areas — poor workmanship by the previous roofing company!. Rich, Graves’ excellent project supervisor, was all but assured the entire area had to be replaced with 16 sheets of new plywood (otherwise, we’d be re-covering an issue that would reveal damage down the road). So, Rich asked his boss, John, to come out ASAP, and after a meeting to discuss options, we confidently approved the extra work and cost. Fast forward to the successful conclusion, our finished GAF roof looks fantastic; the quality of materials was clearly equaled, if not surpassed by, the amazing skilled workmanship of the crew. Thanks to Rich’s team — including Chino, Juan, Maria, Manuel and Louis — for their dedication, attention to detail, professionalism, and camaraderie—their self-pride and experience made all the difference!
