He correctly identified the insects as ground-dwelling yellow jackets, and assured me that the spray he would use would not harm the 35 year old cactus they had nested under. While he sprayed, I asked him about occasional carpenter ants in the house. With a quick look he spotted what was drawing the ants to the house, leaf litter in the gutters. <br /> Since he was already on site, I asked him to take care of the ant issue. He sprayed for the ants and told me that they would be back if I did not clean out the 'ant food' in my gutters. <br /> Everything was over and done with in 45 minutes!
