In the process of installing my new sump pump, back-up sump pump, and sump pump alarm system, it was determined that a new dedicated outlet could not be created due to my existing electrical panel being too small. Thus, I needed to get an electrical panel upgrade. Through JES Foundation, a date and time was arranged to have my new electrical panel upgrade installed. The lead Root electrician Andrew, and his assistant Andy, dd a terrific job installing the new upgraded electric panel. They were both very friendly, efficient, and professional. Andrew afterwards walked me through everything that was done, and answered any questions that I had. They also cleaned up afterwards very well. "This review is solely about the installation portion of the Puronics Water Treatment System since it was just installed today. The install team arrived on time, ready to go to work. The location of my main water line was tricky to get to, but they found a great solution to tap into the line via a drop-ceiling access point. They located the Hydronex Water Conditioning Cylinder and Salt Backflush Container exactly where I wanted it. Their work was clean, tight, and very professional. The RO system was backordered, so they explained that they will return within the week to install that portion of the project. They prepped for the RO install by drilling and installing the faucet in my granite countertop. After the install, they explained the whole system to my wife and I and we were up and running with conditioned water. I can't say enough about my experience with Chuck on the initial phone call, Miles who provided the water testing and sold me the system, and Ryan who installed the system. So far, I can't envision any issues that might arise with Orbit Water Solutions since they have provided outstanding service to this point!"

"Our service technician was David. He arrived earlier than expected and went straight to work. Our new pump was installed in less than one hour. We were pleased with the work. He came after hours 6:30pm and did not charge an exorbitant fee. He was pleasant and very informative when asked questions. If there was a topic he was not familiar with he answer "I'm not sure". I like reliable companies with professional employees. We had another plumber come earlier and wanted to charge us $452 dollars for a 1/2 HP pump that cost on average $242, $200 for accessories for installation (I paid $276 taxes included for pump and accessories), labor charge to go and pick up the pump and to install the pump. His price $1252. I was told that it was considered an emergency so that is why the price was so high. This was the morning two days after the flood. After we got the pump we called several times and no response as of yet, He's off my list completely. I share this illustration so that buyers can make educated decisions about how best to spend their money. I don't assume that the plumber whose charges were 50% higher than anyone else I called on Angies List. I simply say do your homework and know what is considered a fair price. "Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. And the result is so beautiful--no corners cut, no putting up with mediocre results, all this for the same price and time or less than others quote. Be patient. Be flexible. Talk with Bill about the results you want. Listen to suggestions. Your results will be beyond anything you thought was possible."
