"James Cress Jr Water Pump Company came out to check my well and give me an estimate on work to be performed. He was punctual with his appointment with me. He replaced my pump in the well and I am one satisfied customer. I will call him again. I will be referring him to family and friends. I was satisfied with the hob and the cost was reasonable."

"I first had another service company from Charlotte that I contacted. We can be there at 4 today. Great. No show others issues. Tuesday 2-4 great shows at 3:30. All I needed was pump station pumped out and replace effulent pump no digging needed. Pumped one side said would have to dig up other side , bring in equipment , septic line may need camera etc etc could be up to $5000 could be here at 9 the next day. Get call that night that I need to pay at least half of money before they could proceed. Told them not our deal, their guy wasn't sure. Never showed by 10;30, called them and told them to forget it. Another local company argued with me as to what I had, lived her 20 years, told him I would send pictures, never responded. Got on home advisers and had 3 contacts. first called right away. Told the issues, they would need to come look but that would be $150 cost but if they got the job would knock it off the price. Told them I would send pictures, nope need to pay first then come LOOK. NOPE. Then Mark from Clearwater Septic and Pumping called, told him the issues, told me he would be there the next morning between 11-12. He texted when he was on his way. arrived , pouring down rain, showed him the pump tank, we discussed prices, wanted to pump out, pull old pump and make sure we got the right size, gave me their price to replace pump and away we went, all in the pouring down rain. Told him we didn't have to finish today, maybe next day would be ok, no back ups or any issues, could wait. He said I told you we would get it done today and we will. they pumped both sides, pulled pump, went and got the new pump. installed the new pump, all in the pouring rain, never complained, knew what needed to be done and he did it. very professional and NEVER spilled a drop of waste on the driveway or yard like the first company from Charlotte did that I sent away. finished at 5;30, soaked ,cleaned up everything. This company came, gave me fair prices, did what I asked to have done and didn't try to hit me for any other charges or unnecessary work. VERY HAPPY with the end result. I'm pumping again:) Thanks Mark"

"They did a great job! My roof looks great! Reliable and kept me well informed about everything. They kept cost in mind and cleaned up nicely after themselves. Serge even came out late to tarp the roof until it could get repaired so that I didnâ t have any further damage to the house waiting for the roof. They were very nice to work with. Great people. I canâ t say enough good things about them!"

"it went very well. Very professional and courteous. Called before coming and called when another problem was found and checked with me before repairing. Came in on budget and on time. Would recommend to anyone."

"We had a Pressure Relief Valve and a water shut off valve replaced and a water leak tracked down and repaired. I had contacted 3 companies regarding the issue we were experiencing. Pro Plumbing is the only company that responded promptly. We set up a time for their plumber to come out and he was exactly on time. Joseph (the plumber) was very polite and explained his company, how they work, etc. He used covers for his shoes (which I have found lately most companies do not do) and I greatly appreciated it! He went quickly to work, provided us with an estimate and started working on our problem. Finding our water leak took over 5 hours to find but their estimate never changed. Joseph had to open up our ceiling and a few walls to find the problem. But instead of busting into the drywall with a hammer leaving large holes, he cut into the drywall with a drywall saw leaving the opening repairable with drywall tape and patch putty. Once the repair was complete Joseph quickly cleaned up any mess he had made and was out of our home. I will call this company again if and when we have any issues that fall within the expertise of their technicians."

"Josh did an excellent job installing 2 new toilets in our home. He was very courteous and took great care while working in the house removing the old toilets, one upstairs and one on the main floor, crossing over hard wood floors and carpet as he did his work. He even left his shoes on the front door mat without being asked! Josh hauled away the old toilets and even took with him the cardboard boxes and packing materials the new toilets came in. Toilets work perfectly and we are extremely pleased with the work performed. We highly recommend McCoy Plumbing."

"Home Advisor put me in touch with Glenn midday Sunday. I explained my situation, that I was calling on behalf of my elderly parents and that I live in Philadelphia, PA and that they live there in Charlotte,NC . I went on to tell him that we had been calling Piedmont Gas for over 6 months to get their furnace repaired and that after waiting that long we were told that the furnace insert that they sold them some years earlier was obsolete and therefore parts were no longer available (Martin Gas Products). Glenn explained that in 24 years of repairing Martin's he never found one that he could not repair. He explained that there would be a Sunday charge but that it would be credited to the final bill if I decided to let him repair or replace the unit in an extreme circumstance if he were unable to repair the gas furnace. I was more than happy to supply him with my credit card number. He said "no need let me get right over so we can get your parents some heat tonight", folks I don't know about you all but that just doesn't happen much anymore. 30 minutes later he arrived at my parents home and 15 minutes later he got the furnace working, albeit that it will require a new valve as the one in it is on its last days. He called me to let me know that he had gone ahead and ordered the new one from the supply house and that he would return later in the week to replace it. Remember obsolete unrepairable, right. Glenn demonstrated a professionalism with a superb customer service and knowledge that few I have come across do. All this was made possible by the service from the people at Home Advisor and a commercial on how a guy in my situation helps his parents from a far. Earlier this evening I received a call from my father telling me that their house was warm and that they would finally be able to get a good night's sleep, and that he appreciated me and that above all he wanted me to know how much he loves me. Thank you Glenn and thank you Home Advisor."
