(No doubt they spend a lot on advertising; There is a reason they are the top result when searching!) Expect to pay quite a bit more than you planned, but I knew if I chose them it would be done and warrantied for everything. Sometimes you just want to sign and not worry, and I would definitely pick Finished basements plus if you are in that situation and have the budget."

If you want to skip the middleman, Tersigni and Sons is the way to go. Before I found Pete, I received 2-3 other quotes that were outrageous—more than I paid for my first home to finish my basement. These quotes came from large remodeling companies. I won’t name them, but a quick search for "large basement remodeling companies" will show you the top three. Pete's quote was about one-third the cost, and the quality remained top-notch. The key difference is that big companies often subcontract work, while Pete goes straight to the source.
