They ran a camera all the way up the inside of my chimney, and found a hole where someone apparently had vented something else into it in the past. They also installed a cap to keep animals out, filled in a small hole in our fireplace wall, and put our damper plate back on track."

"I just want to offer an update to my initial review.  It's been a little over a year since my roof has been replaced.  We've had at least six major thunder storms come through the area (two of which resulted in tornadoes within 3 miles of our home) and been through a brutal winter with sub zero temps and major snow fall.  The roof is still intact, all shingles in place and no leaks!  Leaking had been a huge problem in the past in the garage when we had driving rain with the old roof & ridge vent installed by the builder .  The architectural shingles Ed installed still look great and their heavier weight and design have kept them from flipping during heavy winds and storms.  Overall, I just want to say again what a professional job Ed Popil and his crew did on this job.  I would gladly use them again and refer them to anyone considering a roof replacement or repair.

We already had the chimney cap but weren't able to have it installed because there was no place to attach it to the crumbling brick around the top.  We had just had the roof of the house done.
