"After waiting 48 hours as requested, we turned the shower on and it poured water all over the place in our basement. Fortunately my husband was cautious and checked on it immediately after he turned it on. It was as if the clamps on the rubber boot were not even tightened. We spent hours cleaning up and my sewing machine, serger and cricket machines all got soaked. I am hoping they still work. The plumbing boot was replaced two days later. However, the parts used to repair the shower should have been used the first time around. They looked better and fit better."
