"Everything went very well. The technician had all the parts in his truck, even though he hadn’t been given many details. Our sump well is smaller than most, but he was able to fit it in. I would’ve liked to keep the old pump, but didn’t think to make that request until after the technician left. Called the office for it, but I guess it was already disposed of. Repair - Marcus repaired discharge pipe in typical Michigan weather (34 Degrees and windy). Marcus went to work, going above and beyond to fix issue -- digging and cutting out specific piece of broken pipe, making sure remaining pipe was ok by snaking hose, performed repairs and cleaned up yard. In a rarity these days -- his efforts -- on a day when many others would have taken a short cut or mailed it in, showed he wanted to do the right thing. Very thankful and impressed. Said he could come out to do the repairs on Saturday 08/20/20 and was there right on time (actually he was early). When he and his wife arrived they both got right to work. He explained why and what he was doing as they worked. Came prepared to do the job and worked steady until it was completed. Also they were very through in their cleanup. They work very well as a team , each knowing they role in the process. We have had a few heavy rains since the repairs and have had no issues with water leakage. "At 10 pm on a Saturday we had a pipe from an upstairs bathroom burst in the ceiling of our kitchen. I had used Local Plumbing and Drain before for a long list of jobs. "Sunday morning I discovered there was a leak in the basement in my "main" house drainage system. I called one company and they said to keep a pail under the leak and call them back the next day. I decided I was not comfortable waiting another day since the water dripping out of the drain pipe smelled horrible, since this system carries ALL the waste from the house. Called A& E and they respond when the said they could, which was approximately and hour and a half. Curtis stated that he could patch the leak temporally, but the system would still need to be replaced, since the copper piping was deteriorating. He said he could stay and do it now if we chose. I chose NOW!!! Curtis was polite, friendly and a VERY HARD WORKER! He was here for approximately 5 hours and replaced the entire drain system in my basement. This young man stopped only to run to the store and purchase needed materials and only took a much needed 10 minute break the entire time!"

"My first contact came with my call to the receptionist who handled my call with a pleasant attitude.
I had some problems with my toilet and I wanted to use a professional in hopes that it would prevent a reoccurrence. I needed an appointment the next day, I was called promptly and I confirmed the next day. I asked the receptionist some general questions about what was covered using the full service inspection certificate, she politely explained each part of the inspection, and I was satisfied.
My appointment was for 0900, my technician arrived at 0845. He was professional and explained what he was checking for and labeled valves for water shutoff, heating and hot water heater. I eventually did not need any work on my toilet, he turned a valve and it was back in operation!  The sump pump inspection was the most informative for me, my outside hose was frozen solid and was no longer pumping out water!! This was a great day for me, he did the maintenance and my sump pump is working right! I would recommend Levine& Sons to anybody, I will use them again. i already have estimates on replacing the sump pump and connections.
