The PVC trim around the posts has a hole and a gap. see attached pictures. And the PVC should have been one long piece to cover the stairs. "

They were to replace a small wood retaining wall with stone blocks, remove 2 slabs of a concrete walkway, level the area & install pavers on top of a front stoop, one step & the aforementioned walkway after pouring & leveling the slabs.
