"The overall experience was very good. I started the project in late December of 2017 and the install was completed on January 9th, 2018. Installers were prompt and quick during install. Would use their services again as needed."

"I chose Prianti Flooringto install my new flooring after reading all the reviews. What impressed me the most was that the owner, Frank Prianti, replied to almost every customer review with a thank you response. Frank was very patient with all my many questions and the entire project was completed within the estimated time in spite of problems with the concrete floors. Everyone I dealt with, Frank, Cody and the flooring crew, were a pleasure to have in my home. They were courteous, respectful and meticulous in every respect. The new floors are beautiful and I would highly recommend Prianti Flooring to anyone looking for quality work. They were amazing!"

"There are a few tile places in Boynton to choose from but there is no comparison as far as quality, service and professionalism at Capitol Carpet and Tile! We started shopping for quality vinyl planking and started off at a big box store that everyone knows about. Their quality was not what we expected and they had very little choices for commercial grade vinyl. In addition, their lack of customer service was a joke. For such a large store, we couldn't locate one person to assist us so we left. This is where Capitol comes in. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Gabriel. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all the lines of vinyl that he sells. We are very picky so we spent a couple of weeks deciding, taking home many samples. By the way, these aren't tiny little pieces they lend you, but big boards with all of the product information and pictures on the back. After a while, we went back to purchase what we chose but we weren't really excited about the pattern. Gabriel took the time and told us "don't buy anything that you really don't want". Now, in steps the manager Nick. He also assisted us and gave us other options to look at. Suffice to say, we bought vinyl that day for our entire house. Not only did he tell us when it will be delivered, he called us the day of delivery and gave us the expected time frame and every detail. The service here is impeccable and the quality of the vinyl is amazing. And no, they are not "expensive" as you get what you pay for. Nice job Gabriel and Nick, you won us over with your service and knowledge..Stu & Deanna Levy!"

"It went very well. They were very understanding about the date of installation (we had ongoing construction and had to delay the installation for several months). They arrived on time and installed the carpet well in a minimum time period. <br />"

"Vinnie is awesome. From start to finish, the experience was wonderful. The measurement, selection of carpet, and installation were all done in a timely, skilled, and very professional manner. All of those we interacted with with honest and forthcoming. Communication was excellent. They showed up on time, got the work done as promised, all at a fair (not cheap, but fair) price. <br /> Would recommend this provider to others and would definitely use them again. <br />"

"Very well. Our salesman, Eric, ordered a sample of the wood which had been set aside for our order, so that we could be sure we were satisfied with the color. The installation team was great -- they arrived on time and completed the job in one day -- very pleasant and professional. We love our new floor!"

"The pricing was extremely reasonable for their quality product. One technician came out and completed the job in a timely manner. They were good at carpeting some tricking stairs. I had no problem scheduling the service. They are great at responding to any of your follow up needs."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Fort Pierce, FL

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
