"The guys from Haines Drains were very polite and professional. They and did an awesome job removing roots from my sewer line and verified their work with a camera. They then followed up with steam cleaning and chemical treatment to prevent future root growth. Would highly recommend this company!"

"Had water coming up through the floor drain in the basement when doing laundry which is the first sign that our sewer line is becoming blocked. Of course it has to be on a Sunday. Called City Sewer and Jeff came out within the hour. Was very friendly and professional. Our house sits back from the street farther than typical, so the sewer line is longer than average. I felt the price was reasonable and the service was excellent."

"Our primary sump pump failed triggering an alarm after midnight on a Sunday night/Monday morning of a holiday weekend.
Although we had a secondary back-up in line, this two was really struggling given all the recent rain. We called a few plumbers in the area who were supposed to have 24hr emergency service but Dependable Sewer was the only one who had someone to answer the phone. We explained our situation and we were quickly connected with a plumber, Derrick. He arrived to our home within 30 minutes and even though it was now after 2am, he was both jovial and professional. Derrick was able to replace our sump and get everything up and running very quickly. An overall stressful situation was resolved and we are very pleased with the responsiveness and quality of service. Thank you for all the help and we will definitely look to you for our plumbing needs in the future.
(As an aside the two other "24hr" emergency plumbers have yet to call back even though we left messages. If we waited for them for service we would be dealing with a flooded basement right now....)
"

"First visit they determined the problem, provided an estimate, replaced the failed sump pump and provided a temporary solution to the gravel that was entering through the collapsed wall of the sump well so I wouldn't be stranded and have the basement flood. We agreed on a estimate -- labor and parts costs were explained -- and scheduled an appointment for the all day job of jackhammering the basement floor to remove and replace the sump well liner. Ben explained everything clearly throughout the process. Work was done correctly and area was left clean. Sump liner replacement came in under estimate and replacement pump they recommended runs significantly quieter than previous one.
"

"Our sewer line backed up Saturday after Christmas 2014, during party of course, due to tree roots invading clay pipe. Got one quote Monday. Called Plumbing Professors (PP) on Monday evening. Scott Vogler, Lining Coordinator for PP, came by Tuesday as promised for a camera inspection and lining quote. He was prompt, very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He wore booties inside. He took his time, thoroughly explained everything and answered all our questions - even beyond sewer line questions. We appreciated the time he took because we couldn't find any friends with recommendations or online reviews for pipe lining. We considered lining whole sewer line, which is mostly cast iron in good shape but turns to clay near city sidewalk down to manhole, but Scott advised us lining just the clay pipe causing problems with tree roots was sufficient at this time. They scheduled us for first thing Friday, January 2, 2015 - probably could have been earlier, except for holiday. They arrived promptly at 8:30 am as promised. Mitch, Scott and two other workers. They explained again and got started right away. Everything went smoothly. They had all materials ready. Scott informed me that preparation is key and they complete a checklist before they leave office to go to job site. They worked like a well-oiled machine. First, they camera'd the line, then hydro jetted to clean pipe and remove roots, measure, install liner, let it cure in place. They do "pull in place" install as opposed to the inverted method. All work took place outside from clean-out to manhole. Then they gave us a DVD of our line showing before with tree roots and after with liner. They cleaned whole work area before leaving, you couldn't even tell they were there. They pull any permits before arrival. They spoke with city person when he stopped by. From arrival to departure, it took six hours for about 25 feet liner. We paid exactly quoted price - it's flat fee, not hourly. PP has many years of experience in installing CIPP. We first got quote from another good plumbing company, but they just recently started offering liners and hadn't done any yet - plus they couldn't schedule us until February. We were very happy with PP and would hire again and recommend to others. Sewer problems are the worst and it's nice to have some peace of mind.

"
