It was decided the anode is fine at this time. Due to my flushing the water heater every 6 months that probably will extend the life of the anode. The technician, whose name was Jacob, asked about any other plumbing issues I knew about that might needed attention. I was given estimates for making the needed repairs by email in the early afternoon. They do good work but expect that it will cost more than some plumbing companies."
