They put on a new roof, repaired damaged areas, hung a new garage door, installed new gutters, power washed, and painted our 40-year-old house. Of the four bidding contractors, they were the lowest bidders. Their estimate was well under half the price of the highest estimate and several thousand dollars under the next closest estimate. The contract was completed efficiently and professionally, with each phase accomplished with excellent workmanship and skill. I managed a home designing company in the 1970s and '80s, working with scores of contractors, so I personally know what it takes to be a good contractor. "The owner, Paul Stoural, was wonderful about communicating with me through phone calls and text messages. Without him fighting USAA for our new roof for almost 2 years we would not have the roof today! We had 2 roof estimators come out from USAA and both claimed no recent hail damage even though we had pictures of the hail . Then Paul Stoural asked USAA for a civil engineer to come out and look at roof. USAA said civil engineer said no need for roof. Then Mr. Stoural said we might consider talking to retention department at USAA since we have been with them over 20 years. My husband did that and within the week USAA had approved the new roof. We had given USAA pictures of the golf ball size hail and they didn't care. The owner of Marathon, Paul Stoural, has been in business for over 17 years in Bellevue. His workers all did a good job of sweeping up at the end of the day since I was concerned with nails getting in my car tires. We also got new gutters on entire house. A great roofing company and wonderful people to work with. They had put on the vinyl siding too and it looks great too!"

Job went very well.
Hard working crew worked long hours the first day to scrape my tar & gravel roof and remove old flashing material.  Next day they returned to finish the EPDM rolled roofing job.  New gutters & downspouts were installed a couple days later.  Great job at a good price!"
