"Ahmet and his team are the most professional, hardworking, perfectionist and honest people you can hire. I found them on Angi and they deserve more than 5 stars. They fixed the top floor and stairs of my home and made it not only look new but feel new. The stairs and floor were falling apart, and made a lot of noise even through the carpet. Ahmet and his team came in and knew exactly what needed to be done and did it. I replaced carpet with vinyl flooring and had my stairs done the same. They fixed floor and stairs so well you don’t hear a single squeak. They are the greatest communicators when it comes to what is needed and what needs to be done for your project, all at a very fair price. I have already communicated more work I would like done by them in the near future because of the work they do. I am beyond happy with the results from them and can’t wait to have more projects done. He helped us renovate our primary bathroom (completely, down to the studs and completely changing the layout), created a main floor laundry room, and an extra bedroom. Emile provided a comprehensive estimate, which was accurate, and he finished the entire job within the agreed upon time frame within the estimate. His crew were complete professionals, polite, and did excellent work. We could not be happier with the results and our new spaces. The rooms are beautiful. He went above and beyond in all respects, even when I decided to make changes to the design along the way, he was able to roll with them and told me how much various options would cost and other pros and cons of those options (tiling the whole bathroom vs partial, heated floors or no, different types of fixtures, etc)."

"Hired Matthew Lin owner and operator of The Finish Guy LLC for a basement renovation. We had a detailed contract with a payment schedule . Matt requested a $25,000 deposit we gave it to He was trying to request another $20,000 by day number 4 of the job , going against his own contract . He never came to the job site and checked on his men . He wasn?t given us proper material that was promised in our contract trying to give us cheaper items then what we had outlined in our contract !! He forged my fiancé?s signature on the plumbing, electrical and fire permits, lying, putting all his contact information were is should be the homeowner info LIEING trying to say the homeowner was doing all their own work . I?m limited as to how many words I can write in this review ! Ultimately, we took them to court. He was ordered to pay us back $12,500 He defaulted on payment schedule. I had to put a lien against him."

"Don?t be fooled by Chapter?s sleek branding or ?hassle-free? pitch. Our semi-gut reno of a 3-bed, 2.5-bath Brooklyn co-op has dragged on for a year, burning money, time, and sanity. Chapter claimed high-end services, but this was not the reality. There was minimal project management, workmanship was terrible (damaged new items, blamed ?site conditions? when they couldn?t do basic work they?d promised, had to re-do many items because quality was so poor). They missed every deadline and overshot the timeline by months. We were often forced to procure items ourselves because Chapter weren?t engaged or competent enough to do so (they even failed to purchase a one-of-a-kind marble slab we designed our bathroom around. It was sold to someone else and we were forced to redesign last minute). They gaslighted us whenever we raised concerns and pressured us to make payments when work was defective / incomplete.
