"When the handyman came over we were led to believe the cost would be much lower than what we had to pay for when the work was done. While I will admit that I didn't see the email they later sent us after some days about the total cost, but from the conversation we had when he came over he wasn't upfront that the cost would most likely be about twice much then what he suggested at the time hence the review."

I called Daniel on Friday 10/24 to schedule finishing the drywall repair started on 10/22. He offered to do it the next day, Saturday 10/25. Daniel asked again, ?Is there anything else I can do for you??. I politely expressed concerns from the original work. We scheduled it, and then he asked for a $75 ?house call? fee, which I refused. I already paid for the work I needed finished. He said, ?okay?? Daniel did not show up. I left a voicemail asking if he was still arriving. I sent him a text. The text was ?read? and never answered. Now I?m left with a crusty smudge on my wall, and excess caulk in my bathtub that I did not ask for. This person started out seemingly kind and ?fair?. He told me to pay what I thought was ?fair?. Then he no-showed on me over his expectation to collect house call fees. "
