"Recently we hired Ardmore to replace the glass in 2 of our skylights and install a new storm door. Other than rain delays the skylights were installed in less than 2 hours as Ardmore sent 2 crews for the installation. They even came inside to vacuum any debris that might have fallen into the house during the installation. (5 out of 5). The installation of the storm doors was different. It took over 10 hours for 2 men to finish the installation which I felt was excessive and felt they didn't do the installation correctly. The difference between a good company and a better company is how well they fix a problem and to this point they are doing a better job. When I called to complain the scheduler immediately suggested they send out someone to inspect the work and within 3 days someone came out and fixed 2 out of the 3 problems and said someone would be calling me and ordering a replacement part to fix the 3rd problem"

"I obtained several quotes. Benchmark was at least $100 less than the 4 other quotes for the same door with windows, t-handle/lock, and installation/disposal.  I received a call back from John W. within 30 minutes of my initial voice mail at 4:30 on Good Friday which was totally unexpected. The following Tuesday morning I called him to say we wanted to go ahead. He came out around 4:30 that day for measurements and to sign the paperwork. I wanted a Saturday appointment since my husband would be home  to remove some canoes and kayaks we stored in the garage so the installer could access the garage door tracks. John was able to schedule us for that coming Saturday morning. He would have been able to come within a couple days if that would have worked for us. On Saturday morning the installer showed up promptly. My husband had a slow start that morning and had not moved much out of the garage by the time the installer arrived. The installer was able to work around everything (which my husband's choice, not something Benchmark recommended just in case a tool got dropped on our kayak). The job was done within a couple hours, the old door and parts were hauled away, and it looks and functions great.
John is very nice, professional, and did not pressure me into buying something I didn't want or need.  Overall the transaction went very smoothly from start to finish. I would highly recommend Benchmark for a garage door installation.

LONG VERSION After decades of neglect from the previous owner, and a few years of neglect from us, our 31 yo casement windows were in terrible shape (10 banks of 2). Major rotting of wood sills, sashes, brick moulding, and more. Ronnie & crew in the field, along with Dylan in the office, provided a clear, detailed, competitive quote based on what they could see during the initial inspection. Given the windows' particularly poor condition, they appropriately warned me they might uncover additional repairs while taking everything apart for the quoted repairs. I knew this to be the case from past experience, but still appreciated they called it out explicitly. Ronnie & crew were on-time, respectful, communicative & informative, and ensured I knew the status of the work as it progresssed. During the repairs, Ronnie identified some hidden issues -- though not entirely unexpected (see aforementioned warning) -- which required substantially more work. In each case, Ronnie showed me the newly uncovered issue, explained why the work needed (or did not need) to be done, and confirmed how I wanted to proceed. Most of the additional repairs clearly were necessary to support and complete the originally quoted repairs, so I agreed. In an instance or two, he noted an additional repair was non-critical, and I passed -- no pressure, no problem. We still have 2 banks of 2 windows each, with sashes too far gone to repair, so Ronnie and team are working with me to identify options for sash replacement. Hopefully, since the original model is discontinued and not available, we can use a newer model from the manufacturer (if they fit), But if not, Ronnie is actively working with me on contingency options. I wish all my home repair experiences were this positive. I said it above, and it bears repeating: outstanding! I know definitively who I'll call next time I need window repairs."

"I called Forest door for a quote and they came out to quote it right away. Their price was competitive. I had them quote on the door quite a while ago but I did not proceed because of cost. When I re-opened my inquiry, between them and their competition, they were able to locate the quote quickly and got the business. It took about two weeks for the door to come in and they installed it right away. The two man crew came out to my house within the one hour time frame. It took a few hours to install."

"The R&S on-time estimate was done at the same time as the garage door inspection. The price was very competitive. Unlike another bid, R&S did not need to reframe my 50 year old doorway. Communications were easy with the company owner Russ. The work began a few days later, and I didn't have to wait weeks for the new door as required by another door company. "I noticed that a piece of siding had come off the side of the house, but it was up high near the junction of the garage roof and second story side of the house.  I couldn't be sure of the cause, but knew it needed to be fixed before the upcoming rain and snow could result in water pouring in through the space left by the missing board.  I called Home Fixers and they had Dave contact me the same day.  He came out the next day, inspected it and found that several boards were rotten and had to be replaced.  He got the siding, primed it in advance and came this morning to get it installed.  I had some of the old paint so he painted the siding, too.  Dave did a great job and I really appreciate how quickly they responded.  Disaster averted!

"We first used Integrity several years back to replace our dated living room windows with casement windows for all 8 units. Howard made a great recommendation for our needs at a very competitive price. Installation was seamless and his crew cleaned up all the debris. The windows were and remain a huge improvement over the old ones. Very impressive! My only regret is that we did not know about Integrity Windows when we replaced our other windows, several years prior to this. And last fall, we replaced our old front entry doors and storms with a fiberglass entry door and steel screen door. We are all very happy with these doors, thanks to Howard's great recommendations.
