"We did quite an extensive home upgrade - moved plumbing, moved walls, changed ceiling and walls texture, added windows, and completely gutted the exterior garage to turn into a nice insulated workshop. Innovo Rennovations listened to everything we asked for and offered suggestions when needed. They are wonderfully flexible to work with and strive to deliver a quality product. We reported some things we were not happy with at the final walk through, but Kurt and team rallied everyone quickly to fix everything without any further issues. They stand behind the work, they deliver, and are great to work with."

Customers say: Quick response

"RCU was just the contractor I needed to completely renovate my home. They were able to do all the work from plumbing, electrical, floor installation, tile floor & shower, install and paint new cabinets, move windows and exterior repair. Robert is extremely quality focused and thorough. He and his crew showed up every day and made sure that every detail was right. I’m so grateful that we found RCU through Angi."

"Hired them to level one corner of an addition which was sinking and had broken the slab foundation resulting in a crack and non level floor in that corner. They jacked up the sunken corner and supported it with footings. I was generally satisfied with the work. However, the contract specified that they were to then come in and cut out a two foot trench (one foot each side of the ~15' crack in the slab), remove the rubble, drill in rebar to the two sides and refill the trench with concrete. After jacking up the corner, the two management level guys oohed and ahhed about how good the crack looked. They suggested that cutting the trench was not necessary. So, what I got was a guy spent a few hours grinding the two sides of the crack smooth in a few places and then pushing concrete into the crack. I was OK with that. However, that's a LOT of work they had just been relieved of and I felt a price adjustment was appropriate. That was not forthcoming. They charged me the full amount even though they did not have to do a big chunk of work they had signed a contract to do. So, despite what I felt was generally good work, I came away from the experience with a bad taste of "bait and switch". Be prepared for that if you hire them."

"I paid to have a bathtub / shower installed. I waited 2 months. I have yet to receive a installation date and was told by the main office that this company no longer goes by bathrooms by genie. I have only gotten the run around with no answers. "

FAQs for bathtub installation and replacement projects in Kingsville, TX

Most tubs last an average of 20 years, or closer to 10 to 15 if they’re acrylic or fiberglass. If you’re seeing persistent leaks, cracks, stubborn stains, or mold that won’t scrub away, it’s time to start shopping for a replacement. Out-of-date features and visible water damage are other red flags. Swapping the tub now protects your bathroom from bigger (and pricier) repairs down the road.

You should install your tub in a location that complements your bathroom's layout, plumbing connections, and personal preferences. Consider placing it near existing plumbing to minimize installation costs. Many homeowners position their tubs to take advantage of natural light or scenic outdoor views, enhancing relaxation.

Ensure there's sufficient space around the tub for easy access and safety, especially if accessibility is a concern. Ultimately, the ideal spot is where the tub fits seamlessly with your bathroom design and provides the most comfort and convenience for your needs.

Replacing a bathtub takes just one or two days if you hire a pro to handle the job. They'll remove the old tub and install the new one efficiently. If you're considering doing it yourself, be prepared for it to take much longer, possibly up to a month. That's because you'll need to remove the old tub and drywall, install the new tub, repair the walls, and maybe tackle new tiling. Weigh the time commitment against potential cost savings to decide what's best for you.

Converting your tub to a shower transforms your bathroom with a modern and accessible design. The average cost to convert a tub to a shower ranges from $2,000 to $10,500, based on the required plumbing, tiling, and structural modifications. This upgrade maximizes space while boosting functionality and aesthetics in your bathroom.
