"Ross Mayne and crew were prompt in delivering an estimate and punctual about beginning work each day.
The poured ramp is an improvement on what was there before because it blends with the rest of the patio and drains well. They were careful to maintain access to the outside water line, which threads under the ramp. After this they poured the patio proper, with a slope to push drainage into one area (rather than 4-5 collecting areas we had before). At the end they laid the pavers in sand and cleaned up.
Ross and his guys are pleasant, easy-going and careful. The price was much better than another company offered, and the work was completely satisfactory.

I contacted D&J to inquire about a concrete floor for a pole barn and that turned into a real partnership to not only do that, but Sandy also put a huge amount of effort into helping me find a builder for the pole barn itself. As the work progressed, the communication was outstanding. And as complications with the overall project occurred, Jim was a great partner to help me resolve those. Basement Wizard employees were on time and very friendly. Since these employees were not involved in the original inspection and job estimate I showed them the two areas that needed to be repaired and described the problem.  I also pointed out how important it would be to control the dust which I knew would be created during the repair.  I was assured that the area would be enclosed and air cleaners would be used to control the dust.  Upon completion of the repair I was shocked to find that my entire basement was filled with a dust cloud.  Everything in the basement was covered in a layer of fine powder.  I contacted the original estimator (employee) who offered to have the crew return and clean my basement.  I told him that I had no confidence that they would perform an adequate job and I would perform the cleanup myself.  A couple of weeks later after a heavy rain event one of the "repaired" cracks leaked just as it did before the repair.  A second crew (which included a foreman) was dispatched to preform a second repair attempt.  The second crew did a much more professional job and their repair appears to have stopped the leak so far.  My disappointment with Basement Wizard is not with the fact that it took two attempts to complete the repair.  My issue is that I was assured by the original estimator and the repair crew that they would control the dirt and dust during the repair process.  They failed in this promise and I spend many hours cleaning up after them.
