"Warren Hunt called me immediately to set up a non emergency appointment for the following morning. My technician Ed was prompt, friendly, and honest. He educated me about my system and how heat pumps work. He accurately diagnosed my problem and quickly fixed it. I am very pleased and will be calling them back out for routine maintenance in the summer."

"I was extremely pleased with his service. He explained that our old faucet, the one that he replaced, was an inexpensive model, prone to breakage. (I assume this was used by the builder of the house to save money.) He replaced it with a new model, which not only works, but is very attractive in appearance. Before Mr. Matters came to my house, I had no running water in the kitchen. When he left, everything was fixed, with no mess left behind. I have saved his contact information, as I would definitely use him again."

"Called in the late morning to see if I could get them to look at my water pump. <br /> Informed there crew was out on call, but they might be able to look at it later in the afternoon. <br /> Was promptly called that afternoon and informed that they where still out on the first call, but they would call me back around 2pm. <br /> Called at 2pm and informed that the crew could take a look at my pump at 3pm. <br /> Crew arrived at my house promptly at 3pm. <br /> The technicians primed my water pump and troubleshot my system to a bad waterhose that had been left on. <br /> <br /> Found the technicians very knowledgable, honest and professional. <br /> <br /> I would highly recommend Winslow Pump and Well for any well or water pump problems."

"It was by far the best plumbing experience I have ever had and I've had more then my fair share.  I emailed them through Angie's list at 3:30 am this morning. I was contacted at 7:10 am to schedule.  I was notified at 8:00 am that they were on their way and they arrived exactly when they said they would. <br /> Both gentleman were pleasant and professional and they had the job done in less then 45 minutes.  Granted it was a small job but the toilet was leaking pretty heavily so it was necessary to get it fixed as quickly as possible. <br /> I was so pleased that I have already scheduled them for a return visit in October to replace 3 toilets and will call them for any and all of my future plumbing needs as well as for any issues I have with my well or septic. <br /> Thanks to both Eugene Copsey Plumbing and Angie's List.  Oh, and thanks for the $10 discount.  Every little bit helps. <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Lexington Park, MD

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
