"Marvin is a professional and subject matter expert with lawn irrigation and any landscaping and outdoor projects. He repaired and relocated sprinklers for better performance, he located and repaired a leaking pipe, and he removed a slab of concrete that was improperly laid, then repaired the leaking system. He even informed me about building a retainer wall and the necessary steps needed for raising my downwards backyard to a leveled flat space for a near-future project, I highly recommend Marvin and Magic Landscaping!"

"First of all Donald does great work, however he rarely has schedule availability (suspect this is due in part to his work product and quality), which is great! Last year it took just about a little under 60 days before Donald could get to our home to install an irrigation system (could not complain about the end result). However, I expected Donald to give me a call to perform "Spring Turn on" service. When I didn't hear from Donald I reached out to him to schedule the above service (the best way to communicate with Donald is via text as you rarely can get him on the phone) he informed me he didn't have availability for at least 45 days. I can't wait that long to turn on my irragation system without my grass suffering and then having to be forced to drag a waterhose out to the yard (the main purpose I had the irrigation system put in). In closing, this review isn't about making Donald's business "look bad" but instead because of the popularity of his work I suggest that he hires the needed staff to keep up with his customer base. One would think Donald would place a priority on "returning" customers for yearly services (reoccuring income). It's great he does great work but what good are your services if you have no reasonable availablity. Sadly, I am looking for another service provider who has 35 minutes to conduct yearly spring open irrigation service."

"Ecosystems Services responded quickly to my call about our irrigation system leak and performed a quick but complete repair. When asked about the charges for the repair David Robertson responded that there would be no charge. He indicated that the leak had occurred in an area that he had previously fixed. Since he has been taking care of our irrigation system since we moved here in 2013, it could be true that he might have done similar repair in the past, but I did not recall it. I also don't remember any warranty promised or expressed by David for any of his work. The loyalty to this customer and integrity shown here speaks for itself. I would not use any other lawn irrigation business as long as I can call on Ecosystems Services, Inc."

"the guys from Precision came to the house and spent time doing some investigation. they determined that it was not the irrigation system after all. Is actually main line into the house. Amazing thing is they didn't even charge us. We'll be having them back in the spring for a full estimate to get the system working correctly. (former owner had terrible install) Super nice guys, polite and knowledgeable."

"The lawn fertilization went well, however the shrub care and fertilization was a failure. I lost 9 shrubs due to disease, which should have been diagnosed and rectified. All Turf should have notified me as to the problems with the shrubs, but they did not."

"I contacted Wilson Brothers Landscaping for help with two problems: (1) I had a bad erosion problem on the side of my house because water from the backyard would rush down the side and wash away so much soil that roots from the trees were exposed; and (2) I wanted to improve the landscaping in the front of the house to create some curb appeal while making it “senior friendly” and easier to maintain. Keith Carpenter visited my property twice to answer all of my questions and advise what could be done. I was very impressed with his knowledge and the proposal that he gave me. The erosion problem was solved by installing a drain box and 4” corrugated pipe that collects the runoff in my backyard and takes it through a dry creek bed that they installed that now connects my backyard to my front. My property front was improved by taking out all of the old, high maintenance plants and replacing them with lower maintenance and colorful new shrubs that look great with the front of my house; new sod was installed to reduce the size of the island and fill in where it had been neglected; and pine straw to finish everything off. Keith and his crew worked **** ** the project for nearly a week and as I watched them picking and placing all of those heavy rocks by hand for the dry creek bed, I was grateful that Wilson Brothers had the right people on the job. We couldn’t be more delighted with the outcome and I highly recommend Wilson Bros."

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Locust Grove, GA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
