"Jerry and his partner showed up on time. The price was to be 175.00. That was HIGH but I wanted the job and over with so I can get my lawn watered. He kept telling me about some commercial grade rotary sprinkler. Sounded good to me. It took them about 20 minutes or less and they did more adjusting than replacing heads. That involves just a slight turn of a nozzle. He never replaced the heads except for 2 of them and they were not the commercial type he spoke of. They were Rainbirds: they are ok but you can buy them at any department or hardware store. Here's the deal. I was involved in horrific explosion several months ago. It has left me with some disabilities. My speech is not very good due to frontal lobe damage. Even though I sound like I don't know what's going on I MOST CERTAINLY DO. I originally was not going to post a review on Jerry's Total Outdoor service but it is a fact where lately, and quot;I have been taken advantage of since my accidentand quot;. I've decided to KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON ALL HANDYMEN DOING WORK FOR ME. AND call an Ace and Ace and a Heart a Heart. Did I mention the price turned out to be 200 bucks. "The technician did great work replacing a washer outlet box. Unfortunately, their price for the job was double what others were charging. The reason I went with them is because they provided me with a contact for a company to treat the water damage caused by the leaking outlet box."

"Company review for local business-- This time: Ants short-circuited well pump switch & needed replacement (Last time a long while back: We moved in to house and needed a pump installed to existing well.) RESULTS: Both times, Billy Clark (and sometimes his crew, as needed) were fast, knowledgeable, honest, and-- to prove that last part-- reasonably priced. Both times their installation (Last time) and replacement (This time) worked just fine. Last time, power company had power surges due to bad grounding which caused unequal loading issues, and paid for replacement, but Billy and crew made good at very reasonable rates, and both service calls (Both for the new well hookup and this recent call) were fast, effective, courteous, and reasonably priced: AND-- MOST-IMPORTANTLY-- worked just fine (other than the power surge-- which was NOT well company's fault). "Filtration Direct was the first company to call me back from Angie's List. They came out to give me an estimate in a timely manner. Another company called but never took the time to come give me an estimate and I had two other estimates that were pretty much comparable in price but Filtration Direct included extras the other ones didn't. I decided to go with Filtration Direct - they seemed to be very knowledgeable and they took care of me almost immediately when I called them back to do the job. They redirected some pipes so that the water softener would work both at my house and my barn which was awesome. There were some issues with the way my electric was wired but they got it done temporarily so it would work, and then sent back their guy back with the needed parts to get it done within a week (he came in the pouring rain but still got the job done). They hauled off all the old equipment (with the help of my tractor as the salt tank was completely full and solid as a rock), and they also cleaned out my filters and anything that was stained with iron, which was a plus. I was shown how the softener operates and the well tank they put on was much larger (which was badly needed) than the old broken one. I am happy with the water softener and there is virtually no maintenance other than adding salt. It also solved my iron problem as well. 
A few days after they put the new electrical box on my water shut off and was not sure if it had to do with the wiring (which is was not). I checked the breaker box and it was fine so I called them back. I got a call back within minutes and a couple hours they came out. It was a bad switch on the well pump. They replaced it and fixed the problem...thankfully as if was Friday late afternoon.
I am very happy with all the work that was done, they were excellent with communication and got back to me very quickly, and overall I give them a top rating. Their prices were fair, they are very experienced, and I feel they went above and beyond which is a nice change from what most companies offer.

"A valve developed cracks over the years and began leaking and eventually shooting water in all directions.   From the beginning the scheduler was courteous and helpful setting the appointment.  The repair rep was here on time, very professional and had all the needed parts on his truck.  The repair was done quickly and done right within the initial visit.  I am very pleased with the whole experience and my pump is working perfectly.  Before leaving, he also answered my questions and adjusted the sprinkler system's timer for me.

"Went well to this point of replacing parts. Then the United needed to have a system leak test and then needed freon put in pump. This was refused by Choice warranty. We were left with a partial repair and a heat pump not able to do it's job."
