"Well, I knew it was time for a new roof. Based on its age and just looking at it, I knew it. I had put off this decision for quite a while now, but yes, now was the time to finally invest in a new roof. Would I rather spend the money on a Hawaiian vacation or perhaps a new Zero Turn Lawnmower yard toy? Maybe, but if I am thinking clearly and correctly, not really! I knew a great roof replacement would add great protection not only for the home, but for me and my loved ones. It provides peace of mind, dynamic curb appeal, and one less big worry. Jim DelPrete, President came out to visit with me in short order and assessed my particular and specific roofing needs and presented all the relevant options and recommendations and some needed do’s and don’ts. After speaking with him, I was confident about their services and capabilities, the materials, and the process, steps and timeline for the job. I also felt that the project cost was very competitive, reasonable, and fair. From contract to materials delivery to house prep and to the completed roof and cleanup, the project went along quite smoothly. I am very pleased with my new roof. I really am and I would like to publicly thank Jim, Elias, Sean, Samantha, and the whole crew. "This is the second time I use Vaillancourt Roofing, and they have always been exceptionally professional. Brad Entrekin, the salesperson I have always dealt with is wonderful: knowledgeable, patient, punctual. So have been the team that does the work. In this specific case, Nick and Jay did the installation of the gutters. Their work is impeccable. They are very respectful yet friendly. If I was doing gutters I would do all possible to get the Nick and Jay tea However, in order to reach them you would have to go through the scheduler. I understand that the schedule is necessary in order to make the best use of the resources possible however, that has to be tempered with the needs of the client. Case on point, day before the installation date I was informed that the installation had been cancelled "because one of the installers was sick" and the work was rescheduled for 12 days later. I spoke to the scheduler and he had no interest in whether I would be available, convenience or any other consideration of what the effect of the change could have on MY schedule. I just had to understand that people get sick. That is - an administrative problem of the company was suddenly on my shoulders. This gentleman is extremely rigid and unsympathetic. Chances are that the job could not be done before but a gentler approach with the client will take him a long way. In addition, his attitude really erodes the exceptional work of the field salespeople. It is then left on the shoulders of the installers, to fix with the client what the installer undid. Once again, Vaillancourt has, in my estimation, first class materials to offer, a splendid salesperson in Brad, and an impeccable installation team with Nick and Jay. So, go for it. More likely than not, you will not have to deal with the scheduler."

"We got a full roof replacement with On Top Roofing, and had an excellent experience! Tim and his team were very responsive. The office manager was really great about contacting me right back, getting us scheduled in for an estimate, keeping me updated on times for work. They also were able to get us in this season, even though they were fully booked. Super great since we had leaks and didn't want to go all winter with them. Tim did the estimate himself and the price was fair and within range of other quotes. We opted for a rubber roof on our back dormer. Rain delayed work getting done for a day, but they made sure the roof was watertight before rain set in, and came back to finish up the next day. I loved that they were able to send contracts and relay messages via email, made it simpler for us <br />"

"Initially they were responsive and got to the job quickly. They started one day later than their initial estimate and finished the job in a day and a half. The roof has gone through the Arthur downpour with no apparent leaks. <br /> The cleanup wasn't perfect, as there were small pieces of old roofing and cellophane strips left on the ground. In a couple of places where the roof changed direction the shingles didn't conform fully to the shape leaving some gaps. Also, when they reflashed around the chimney they put the new flashing one course above the old flashing, rather than digging out the old flashing and inserting the new material in the same place. <br /> When I called about the issues they were pleasant, but it took a few weeks for a representative to come out and review things, and then three more weeks for them to come to resolve the first two issues. The flashing is just the way they do things and is OK. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"My first project with NMTI0Generation Construction (Tru Blue Construction) is complete; I have signed the contract for another, larger project. When I solicited quotes for my roof replacement (including new gutter installation and the reconstruction of my back steps and landing) I met with Project Manager Juan Carcamo. While every company that bid on my job seemed competent to do the work, I sensed that Juan and his company would be easy to work with. He listened to my concerns and ideas and explained how his company would handle them. Although his was not the lowest bid, I knew this was the best company for this job. I was not wrong! The professionalism of all the employees who worked on this project was amazing. Not only was each individual obviously skilled, they worked together as a very efficient team. There were two change orders to the project. These did not come as a surprise as Juan made sure I was fully informed as the job progressed.One change order was an upgrade in materials for the steps and landing. By the time the old roof had been removed I had decided that I would stay with this companyfor my next job, new siding and windows for the entire house. The second change order was to have the carpenters already on the job installs the rakes prelijminary to the siding job. I've been excited about every aspect of this project so far, but the actual roof installation was amazing! The crew od seven plus a foreman arrived around 7:00 am; before 4:00 they were gone. The job incuded my house (a two-story colonial style structure), a connected one-story sun porch and breezeway, and a one-car garage. They protected everything with sheeting, and they cleaned as they worked. They swept the porch and raked the yard - everything was cleaner after they left than it was when they got there."

"Overall, quite good. I'd rate the work and the primary workers (Konner and Nick) as excellent. Only time will tell regarding the results (deal with some tricky spots on the roof where ice damming was happening and water was coming in), but the process was excellent. Konner was in constant contact; I knew exactly where they were in the process and what the various decision points were. The only reason that I did not give a 5 is that I did not love the sales process. Their prices are relatively high (that's okay--I think they do good work, and I understand that materials are expensive at the moment), and I felt that we were being pressured to spend lots of money on big, expensive jobs--something we were not in a good position to do."
