"I originally asked for a bid on taking out old fence and replacing with a new vinyl fence. The quote I got was for just the new fence. In later discussion after I had told them to go ahead I realized that they were not including the removal of the old fence. So they added an amount to cover that which was still less than other bids in total. <br /> They did great work on time as scheduled. Mark was very professional and followed up as promised. The fence looks great and seems very solid. <br /> The reason we decided to get the vinyl fence over a new block one was that a nearby tree root had grown upward and had broken up the block wall. We wanted the vinyl because it could be built with a gap at the bottom that would allow for that upward root movement. The problem is going to be that what was designed to be a three inch gap ends up being only a one inch gap where the root is. Which means we are still going to have to deal with that tree eventually. Would have been good to know that measurement before the job started. <br />"

"Shawn, Sunset Gates' owner/operator, came to the house, took measurements and gave us a price. He clearly explained materials, pricing and how the gates are built. The purchase and installation went really well. We chose a Traditional Series gate, which looked very nice after it was installed and even better after I stained the cedar slats. Was tempted to go with the composite slats, which don't need staining or painting, but I like the look of real wood. Fyi: We opted for a self-closing spring, which works great. Bottom line: This iron-and-wood gate is sooo much better than our old gate, which was made of 2-by-4s and wood slats!"

"We first met the Allied Iron company at the Maricopa Home Show about one year before we were ready to pull the trigger to put up new gates on the sides of our house and a small entrance gate for our casita. "I have used Precision Door since 2006 before becoming an Angie's List member with good results. Yesterday, 7/26/2016, was the first use of this company as an Angie's List member. 3 days ago I began hearing a squeak during the final phase of garage door closing that hadn't been there before. Additionally it had been over 4 years since I last had any work done to the garage door (and it was Precision Garage who installed 2 springs at that visit) and knew things needed lubricating at minimum. I looked on Angie's List for different garage door repair vendors and saw Precision was one of them with a coupon deal for $45 tune up. I called Precision first to veryify the deal, made an apointment for a techician to come the following day and upon ending the phone call, purchased the deal and printed off the coupon. Brandon, the technician, called ahead of time that he was on his way. He was a nice, clean cut looking young man, who immediately went to work and answered my questions along the way. In no time my garage door was running quietly and efficiently once more, no small feat for a 20 year old garage door. Was very pleased once again with Precision and would recommend them for garage door needs."

He also helped me find a new roofer when my guy didn't respond. Work was done correctly and on time. They were also very careful with the new roof and cleaned up well. "We completely gutted and renovated our entire house, using several different companies. We were content with the final product, but wanted to add a large fan to the main living room several months after the house was completed. We hired Rounds Construction for the job and of everyone we worked with, they were one of the most professional companies. They arrived at our house exactly when they said they would come. Moved all of our furniture out of the way very carefully. They never complained about crawling 50 feet through our tight attic space to the other side of the house to install the electrical in a very difficult spot. The fan installation is flawless and the price was very reasonable. They left the place cleaner than when they arrived by doing touch up paint on the ceiling and by the light switches, vacuumed, and patiently moved our furniture several times to exactly where we wanted it. I would definitely hire Rounds Construction again and again!"

"I ordered a garage door in May of 2015 submitting half down. Steve, the manager, was both knowledgeable and pleasant, important attributes when making an expensive purchase. He noted that both the garage and the room above it would be much warmer with an R19 door. I had hoped to order a Liftmaster belt system opener, but the manager noted he had difficulty in securing those from his supplier and recommended a Linear. However, Consumer Reports and my husband, a mechanic, both recommended a Liftmaster system because it is quieter and can be connected to your smart phone. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Paul installed the beautiful, new garage door, but there were gaps on both sides of the door where bugs or wind could enter. Paul attempted, but was not successful in installing the new opener because the rail was too long. I was worried about the old Genie system being able to lift the new door, but Paul thought it would be okay. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I called Steve and he very cordially drove over the next day to fill the gaps. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Steve was correct. The garage is much warmer as is the room above it. My purchase was a wise investment that added curb appeal. The window design adds much needed light in the garage when working on projects. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Unfortunately, the old Genie system broke in December.
