"Last year 1st Response did an application to my house to control ants. By November I had ants in my basement and by February they were in my kitchen. After I called a man showed up and, after seeing that I had a patio, said that patios are where ants live and no wonder I had an ant problem. He said that they have a spray that they use on patios but didn't use it last year. He said he'd make a note to apply it this year which had me wondering why they didn't use the spray in the first place knowing that my patio is where ants live. Go figure. He did put out a poison and we haven't seen any ants since. Thank goodness for the "guarantee.""

Greenix has called and resolved this situation to my satisfaction. They have proven quite thoroughly that they care about their company's integrity and the customer service provided by it's agents. I have revised my initial grading accordingly.

I canceled my first appointment with Greenix Pest Control after waiting 45 minutes past the scheduled time and two phone calls ending up in their voicemail. The new customer coupon and great Angie's List rating (at the time) was tempting enough to bite. Now I read their Facebook page and apparently this is a long standing issue with them. I definitely do NOT recommend wasting your time with this company. Their FB page also lists complaints of being charged even when no service was provided; that better not happen here!"

"Salesman did a great job. It took time (longer than I expected) to get the treatments and the follow up has been average to poor. Time will tell if this was a good investment. It was very very expensive. Critters pulled many of the installed bait stations out of the ground and they had to return to reinstall the ones that I could not push back into the ground. I had to call a number of times to remind them that they were to return to reinstall the bait stations and to check for carpenter ant control."

"This may be the best Angie's List provider I have ever used. I called Done-Gone Wildlife in panic on a Saturday afternoon after I discovered to my horror that I had a fly infestation in my chimney. It dawned on me that there must be a dead critter in my chimney. Frankly the grossness of the whole thing freaked me out and I started desperately calling listed Wildlife Removal Services and Chimney Sweeps. Of the 15+ I called, only 2 called me back and only Done-Gone Wildlife offered to come out that day (Saturday). They ended up coming at about 9pm and handled everything incredibly quickly, pleasantly and efficiently. I so appreciated their responsiveness, sensitivity to my situation and overall professional. Angie's List needs an A+++ rating to describe this firm.
