"From my initial contact with Will all went extremely well. After checking with the shingle manufacturer of my existing shingles, I found that I had faulty shingles and had to go through the process of filing a claim with the manufacturer. This put a major kink in planning for a new roof, but Will and the Excellent Roofing crew were not impatient and were very helpful. Finally, the time came for a new roof. I was provided with a detailed list of what would be done, except for what might need to be repaired under the existing roof. I was, however, given a detailed list of the cost of possible repairs to the decking. The crew arrived at the scheduled date and time and began its work. The machinery used was remarkable--NOT two men and a wheelbarrow! State of the art machines were used to collect the debris as it was removed from the roof. There was absolutely no mess, and my newly landscaped foundation plantings were not disturbed. Will provided us with estimates of several shingle types as well as additional guarantees and options we could select or reject. We decided to use a designer shingle that was was a couple of steps up from the basic roof and to include several upgrades for ice and leak protection as well as warranty extensiosn. (We have been plagued by leak problems for years.) The new roof was installed, and it is beautiful. We could not be happier with the result. The product and the workmanship are, as the name says, Excellent Roofing!"

He goes the extra mile for us in regards to dust control and clean up, knowing our need as we are a growing family with babies in the home ever since we started working with him. We trust his workers completely, even leaving them in our home as we go away for the duration of the demos. Allen is a perfectionist and really goes over his work with a fine toothed comb. Another amazing thing he does is stays in frequent contact with the home owner during the entire planning and building process, followed by a follow up session a few weeks later to make sure the home owner is completely happy. He uses good design input as well as functionality."

"The project went very smoothly.  He was easy to contact and came out to quote the job exactly when he said he would.  He was unable to start right the job for several months, so we continued looking.  In the end, nobody else that we interviewed seemed up to the task and nobody came close to Chris's price, so we waited for him to become available. <br /> <br /> The work started exactly when he said it would.  I always knew when he would be here and how things were progressing.  He did not want and would not take an advance on the job, chosing instead to bill me for each week for only the work actually completed.  He generally worked from about 10 am until about 4 pm each day and was always busy while he was here.  He was very professional about cleaning up each day.  In a house with kids and cats, that was very important. <br /> <br /> Our house had some fairly large issues with sheetrock.  There were many places where tape had come loose and was cracked.  It really made the house show poorly.  Chris did an excellent job repairing each and every one of these areas.  These repairs were as important as the new paint in terms of the finished product. <br /> <br /> I learned very early in the process that Chris has a higher standard than I do for his painting.  Nothing was ever done until it met his exacting standards.  Walls or ceilings would be repainted until he was satisfied with the result. <br /> <br /> When the project was nearing completion, we created a punch list of everything that we thought needed to be touched up.  There were a number of small things on the list (remember that it was our entire house).  Each and every thing we found, no matter how small, was quickly addressed.  He actually had things on his list that we never saw and even those were corrected.  The finished product is outstanding!  The house looks amazing! <br /> <br /> I do want to note for you, however, that Chris works alone.  The larger the job, the longer it's going to take.  A crew of 10 painters isn't going to show up and paint your house in 2 weeks.  It's going to be Chris, working by himself, at his pace.  If you need the job to go quickly, you should look elsewhere.  If you don't mind waiting, you'll wind up with excellent results at extremely reasonable prices.  We did and are very pleased with the result."
