"We are exceedingly pleased with the exceptional work completed by S&M. The professionalism and quality of Matt and Heather's craftsmanship are truly commendable. Their pricing is equitable and transparent, and communication throughout the project was consistently clear. Matt demonstrated great care in safeguarding carpets and wood floors while maintaining cleanliness. Initially hired for one bathroom renovation, we were so impressed that we extended the contract to include another. Without hesitation, we will engage their services again in the future."

"My wife and I are acting as general contractor to build our home on our lot. We hired Artica Construction as sub contractor to perform most all of major areas of work to build our home up through completion of shell of home. Continuing to use them for various other areas of home build such as insulation and drywall install. Artica Construction has been very accommodating and flexible to work with in all aspects. Workmanship is performed in an professional manner and expeditiously completed. This company works very well with individuals who want to be their own general contractor or they can provide full service as a general contractor and accomplish the complete build of a home on your lot if you wish."

"Overall, pleased with the results. It was a significant & complex job for a "handyman". A combination of scope creep and underestimating led to some delays and overages along the way. I do think the crew could improve teamwork to ensure communication and boost efficiency. The important part is that they eventually finished the job squared up at the end to help make it right and left with a guarantee to fix anything after a year."

"Liberty General Construction was used for an insurance claim. The ceiling had been damaged when a water pipe became loose. One crew cut out the area, and patched it with new wall board. Another crew re-textured the ceiling. A third party painted. The work moved quickly. Greg stayed in constant touch with us. I'm very satisfied. I would use them again for household repairs and contracting needs. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Once we finally found a date that fit into both of our schedules, I had to call him at 5:00am, just hours before he was to be at my house, to cancel due to the birth of my grandson. He took the news very well, congratulating me and telling me not to worry about the short notice. He showed up right on time on the rescheduled date. <br /> Once he removed the old door, he found that the brick on the house had been added, which I did not know, and he had to correct to correct the opening in order to be able to install the new door jamb. He did an excellent job and both doors looked better than I had expected. He didn't charge me any extra for the extra work he had to do to the house because of the siding. He came back the next day to install the trim around the door and showed up when he said he would. He noticed that I had an opening to the crawl space under my house and cut the old door to fit into the space and cleaned up after himself. I am very pleased with the way the doors look and work. <br /> I have already asked him to quote on a couple of other jobs around my house. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Reliable Building Services were very professional and courteous when it came to our home addition. They took their time to make sure everything was done correctly and went out of their way to fix prior mistakes from other contractors. The owner David was just a phone call away and although a busy man, would be able to meet with us within an hour. We are very pleased with the work they have done and would hire them for all of our building needs."

"Scott and his team worked on an indoor project constructing shelves along with some last-minute add-ons over the course of 3 days. Top notch quality, attitude, professionalism and courtesy from everyone involved. We are very happy with the end result. Scott's team was on time every day. They really worked well together and everyone seemed to know their roles and were helpful of one another. By the second day, we were comfortable in his team to work inside the home without our being there. Scott spent a lot of his personal time working an an unrelated water-leak issue and shared every bit of knowledge he had in helping me troubleshoot that issue. With the additional work items performed, the final invoice was reasonable and inline with normal expectations given the original estimate."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Morristown, TN

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
