"Vincent Plumbing and Heating came in and did what they had to do and we were happy with the results. They were not cheap but we didn't think we would be dealing with it inexpensively. The downside of their service was that they didn't give us any discount. He was professional and didn't take him a long time to do the job, he was a pleasant guy and it was good talking to him and he listened. We wouldn't recommend him in the future because he could have given us a discount for just pulling out a paper. We have used another company which is also good but we had to call Vincent Plumbing and Heating because the other company was not available for a few days, but they got the job done so it was okay. They came out as soon as they could to help us."

He stuck with it and when he left I finally had a kitchen sink that drained again. He was friendly, explained everything that needed done and had a estimate before proceeding. "Steve is the best plumber. He returns calls promptly, he arrives when promised or calls if delayed and his competitively-priced work is expertly and efficiently completed. I have used this plumber for years during large remodeling projects and smaller plumbing jobs like this last one. The toilet that needed to be replaced was only three years old and used primarily by guests. I was proud of myself for getting such a good (cheap) price on it until Steve told me while he was installing it (in his charming accent) "you gonna have problems with this one". He was right and three years later he replaced that overflowing, persnickety nighmare of a toilet with a new Kohler. I no longer wonder and worry what the toilet will do when a guest asks to use that rest room. Steve replaced the burned out instant hot water heater and kitchen faucet while working in very tight quarters and granite counter tops. No mess. No fuss. "We had an excellent experience with Windy City Rooter. Max (the owner) and his son came to my house to diagnose the problem and give a free estimate. Unlike with other "big name" companies, I felt comfortable with their diagnosis. Windy City Rooter sends actual licensed plumbers to your house and not uneducated salesmen guessing what the problem is and trying to sell you expensive sump pumps or experimental fixes. Although the diagnosis was not good (we had a blocked overhead sewer with a leak in our basement), Max was huge help in making the ordeal as painless as possible. He explained the entire process of replacing our sewer, including city construction codes, digging, replacing pipe, sealing walls, and clean up. Windy City Rooter does all their own work, they don't contract out anyone else (one of Max's sons is in charge of the excavating). Therefore they know everything that is going to get done, how much it will cost, and how long it will take. They dug up the sewer, replaced it, sealed our walls, and cleaned up all in one day as I was at work. Max was phone call or text away, keeping me updated on the entire process. In addition he also helped by talking directly to our insurance adjuster to ensure we could get some money for the damages. Windy City Rooter is a highly experienced family run business and it is obvious that their goal is to make the customer happy. I will use them for all my future plumbing needs."

"We’ve worked with JJB Home Improvements (Jeff) on a number of projects at our home since 2006; totaling more than $20K of work. They were always prompt, and we were always satisfied with their work. I contracted again with JJBHI (Joe) last summer of 2019 to remove & replace 2 insert windows with screens, and the replacement of some beveled cedar siding. Without our knowledge, JJBHI substituted a different vendor for our windows, and they did not provide screens like we had asked for and paid for. I ended up having to locate the supplier, and purchased the screens myself this past July/2020. The majority of the siding work was done in the dark with “flood lights”, and a very small section of the siding was overlooked (see image below, 2 courses above top of left window). I made numerous attempts via emails and phone calls this past Dec./2019 with JJBHI regarding the above, with no response to date. I also made two written requests via USPS, asking JJBHI to reimburse us for the screens, but have not received a response from Jeff or Joe. I would classify this as JJBHI being “penny wise and dollar foolish”; especially since I have more work to do, the screens X2 were only $80 – COST, and “word of mouth can be your best and worst form of advertising”. Sadly, and mistakenly: 1) I gave JJBHI a 60% down payment, waited more than 3 months for them to show up, and 2) I didn’t retain 3% - 5% of my final payment because I had worked with JJBHI (JEFF) in the past, I didn’t think it was necessary, and I trusted them – BIG MISTAKE."

"Ron came out promptly and walked through the property  and provided us with an excellent recommendations for the job.  He submitted his bid for the job and once the job got underway he contacted me daily too let me know what time the job started and what time they left the property at the end of the day.  When I went to the property, Ron stopped painting and walked me through the property to show us what had been completed and what was left to be done for the remainder of the job, I couldn't have ask for a more professional job to have been done in our new home.  I would recommend Supreme Care Services to anyone looking for a great team.
