The were extremely helpful providing design recommendations, quick to complete the project, worked cleanly/neatly throughout the project (no dust and debris anywhere), and were easy to work with. "What can I say about Dan and crew? If there were six stars, I would have given them all of those! Our powder room job was also flooring for the hallway and laundry room, plus a utility sink. It was a total gut job in the bathroom. Dan could not have been nicer, quoted us a more than fair price and the job was finished in record time. He was very responsive to any questions we had (ok mostly me). Also, his workers (2) were fantastic. I'm not sure if I should name them, so I won't. They were efficient and professional, asked questions when needed and cleaned up the site and their work space (our garage) every single day. They treated our home with care, as well as our old appliances and new fixtures. We could not have been happier with all of it."

"Repair of small guest bathroom shower/tub area. Chose americraft bc they had no complaints on bbb and good reviews on social media. After obtaining quote greg came out to evaluate repair and answer questions. Our perception was that Greg lost interest when we didn’t want to change tub to shower or replace the bathtub. Just to keep existing tub. This would have brought quote down 2 to 3 thousand dollars. At this point Greg practically ran out of our condo. Never heard back from them. Our perception is that Americraft is not nterested if project is 10 thousand or lower. My wife may of scared him with either providing awareness of plumbing problems with common area or had all lights off except bathroom bc she’s embarrassed of our condo. Do not recommend for small projects."

"Jakubek proved to be an honest and reliable contractor that performs quality work. They did a complete remodel of the first floor in my house that included 1) Gutting and a complete remodel of the kitchen, half bath and laundry rooms (3 full slabs of stone were used as counter tops and back splashes). 2) Installing 1,300 square feet of oak flooring (they used over 3,000 screws to secure the underlayment and eliminate squeaking). Their bid was a fair price and lower than many other contractors who quoted the project. The only cost adjustments were for unanticipated issues and changes I made to the original quote and the amounts were reasonable. Robert, David and their crew paid close attention to detail and performed the job as if they were working in their own homes. They were very flexible and adaptable when issues came up (such as unexpected pipes in the wall) and very helpful in offering suggestions and implementing solutions. Since I wanted to be closely involved in decisions, they included me in all appropriate areas, and I felt like I had input and was listened to. They cleaned up daily and took precautions to protect areas from damage. Once they started the project, they stayed on it, and I felt like I was their most important client. While they did do work on other projects, it never delayed my project and they always had someone on site keeping my project progressing. David coordinated all materials and subcontractors to ensure everything arrived on time. They used excellent subcontractors for the hardwood flooring and countertop installations and monitored their work to make sure the finished project was up to Jakubek high standards. David also made design suggestions and recommended suppliers that had high quality products and better pricing than others I considered using. Jakubek was the first contractor where I never had a dispute, where I felt the entire project was done properly and where I was highly satisfied with the finished project. Therefore, I would highly recommend Jakubek to friends. In fact, I have already recommended them to 4 good friends who saw my remodel and wanted the name of my contractor for projects they are planning. I was so happy with their performance and attention to detail that I asked them to come back and proactively replace my 18-year-old water heater and a failing sump pump. Their work was very professional and they were less expensive than other alternatives for replacing these items."

Kris was onsite everyday and worked in a strategic way that there was never any lost time. He has a great eye for detail and design. You can tell he has a passion for his work.
