"I recently completed a six-month project with NRG Remodeling, and I couldn't be more impressed! The renovation of my 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home, and kitchen went smoothly from start to finish. The communication was top-notch, and the team worked quickly and efficiently, all while maintaining very fair pricing. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding, and the entire experience was stress-free—much smoother than I anticipated. It's rare to find such a professional and personable team, and I’m already planning my next project with them. I would absolutely recommend them for any home renovation and will definitely turn to them for future work!"

"When I bought this house, it was was filthy, smelled horrible from outside even, was rodent and roach-infested. Counters, floors were wet and rotting. Everything had to be torn out and rebuilt. Now my home is beautiful. The bathrooms are lovely. There were no short-cuts or rush jobs, or anything left unfinished. I’ve had neighbors and friends who are in building and construction admire and compliment the high quality of the work done on my home. Most people who come in comment on the beautiful flooring, or the cleanliness of the walls and ceilings. I live in a quiet, gated community and there was never a complaint about a mess outside or noise. Very clean."

"Good and bad. At 1st work started out really good with the workers coming in 5 to 6 hours A-day for 3 to 4 days a week. James would come in once A-day to check on the progress. After a few weeks one of the workers was deported and at that time the Quality began to suffer. The work became sloppy and everything was taking a lot of time. Many items were not done correctly. The backsplash in the kitchen had to be ripped out and redone. They began coming less and less and we never knew what day they would be here or what time they would arrive. They were very sloppy and did not cover the furniture or carpet where they worked and walked inside the house. They left a lot of trash laying around the backyard And did not clean up behind themselves. After a few weeks we saw no one at all for 5 days. We were ghosted by James on Phone, text and email. They then told us that the workers had quit and they didn't have anyone to come in and do the work . They were going to come in and do it themselves. Quality improved, but Once again communication was poor regarding when they were coming. The agreement was the last installment would be paid at completion of the job but they informed us that they needed more money. After a heated discussion, we gave them 4,000 and Marlana took over. This is when EVERYTHING changed for the better. Marlena and her sister came in and did a lot of the inside work. They corrected the mistakes of the previous workers and did a great job installing the shower et cetera that also needed to be done. After a few days, Marlana brought in and supervised 2 guys that redid and completed the outside. They had the entire job finished in less than a week. The quality was high, they were very professional, and did a great job. We are EXCEPTIONALLY HAPPY with the work that was done during the last week. We paid them extra to remove the trash and when they finished it was done well. The original quote was supposed to include builder quality fixtures and materials and other supplies. We chose higher end so they amended the agreement and charged us is us 38000 for their work. Supplies for the outside were included in the quote. We ended up spending an additional 18000 on fixtures, shower doors, vanities, plumbing parts, toilets, tile, granite, and everything else."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Navasota, TX

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
