"I had three estimates, his price was reasonable. Here is what I liked...he called 1/2 hour before arrival, very neat, cleaned up after themselves, all three people seemed interested in the job, cheerful employees, took pictures of chimney when bid, when cap was removed to replace found additional problem offered several options and price points to address the new issue, new pictures to show problem. Had to add two additional rows of brick. Keeps a stock of different brick in order to match existing brick. My home is an odd brick and the house is sixty years old so this was a worry. The verdict you can not tell this is not the original brick, matches perfectly. Another thing which is small but major to a home owner, a gizmo, which makes it easier to but the hose on and off the faucet instead of twisting it on, on the faucet broke. They had used the hose and they told me about the gizmo. They were going to replace. The gizmo was old and showing its age and they certainly could have pointed this out but they didn’t use this as an argument. It was old and I will replace it myself but appreciated they told me about it. Insured and all the normal stuff you ask for, but for reasons detailed above would recommend."

Olde Towne Chimney replaced the crown with poured concrete, removed mortar from a previously botched repair and re-tucked with new mortar, and sealed the chimney with a 10 year sealer. Although we had a small problem during the two week process, Tony and his crews made it right. I am happy with the work."

"We had Coffman's clean our chimney and they did an excellent job. We even had a large bird's nest in the chimney and they removed that (as well as the birds -- all survived). One of the birds instead of flying out of the chimney flew down into the chimney and was trapped. They released the flue enough for the bird to get out, quickly captured it, and released it outside. Our den was spotless when they finished -- no dust or evidence that they had been here. They also painted out chimney on the outside and put wire mesh around the cap so we wouldn't have to contend with anymore birds! "2016 Nov John came to check leaking area and suggested to replace the whole roof. He promised after getting new roof, there will no more water leak. Even chimney, flashing,..everything. He told me no worry. I trusted him with new roof replacement in Nov. 2017 Jan, water leak badly, he came back to check and do water test. find a hold under flashing. They fixed. 2017 Apr, leak again, John came back to check, also owner came as well. They said maybe masonry with hole. They refer a guy to do some work, $2000. 2018 March, leak again, can't count how many times they back. They send a chimney guy, he suggest to take out whole chimney and rebuild it, estimate $20,000. After this, they change attitude to sympathetic,just said we have done what we can do. Of course, we didn't do it. I hired another Chimney company to do level II inspection. They told me the roof edge miss some piece call drain edge. According to Indiana law, that is necessary part. We asked ABC to fix it, they said we didn't check this item when we install the new roof. Just wonder how many people should know they need to check this item. I argued with them and asked them come back to add drain edge. FINALLY, no more leak !! Thank God! John is a very great salesman, Sonja is very helpful at beginning. But no body in ABC roofing can find the root cause for 18 month. Maybe we don't need to replace the whole roof at beginning, just need to add Drain Edge. We spend 22000 for new roof and suffer 18 month. Not sure this is our good luck or bad luck to have ABC roofing."
